I think we would all love a local money man to come in and buy us, but being a fan of the club and splashing out around £10m plus the few million it will cost to get us back to anything like normal is another thing.

Either the SC knew what the Admins were going to say in their statement so sat on it for a few days or someone is telling porkies.

No to the 15 points, will be a clean takeover with debtors paid. Not sure how long it’s going to take from thus stage.

Not quite.
The admins released their statement the day before we had planned to release ours (they didn’t know about it) updating fans on the goings on throughout the week. This changes almost daily and so statements are amended and this isn’t a case of “write something and post it” there are several people they need to go through before they are submitted such as our lawyer.

I’ve never understood this negativity to the SC they have done more than could have been expected of them and I’m proud to say I’m a member. In my biased opinion what they did the other day was to out Stanley as a low life scum fuck lying piece of turd who should be banned from ever going near a football club again. News that the takeover is coming to a conclusion is the best news I’ve had for 8 months. All those at the SC who have been actively involved since our club was slaughtered deserve one hell of a drink once we can all return and we as supporters should be thankful that they have worked tirelessly for the cause. Thank you so much egg lad for your updates when and where possible. Let’s hope this nightmare is ending even if it means Div 2 next season.COYL
The Supporters Club and several others from Cockney Latic, PWU and Mudhutter have done so much and given up so much if their time over this.
I notice that the criticism and the scathing has generally come from those that have sat back and let them do it.
A couple if facts that should never be lost, without these people jumping in and raising the money from the start, would have left us not fulfilling the fixtures last season and joining Bury.
Don’t get me wrong, there were thousands of hero’s donating what they could, it is what Bury didn’t do, they relied on the club being bought quickly.
We are forever in debt to WASC, CL,PWU and the Mudhutter crew, they stepped in and stepped up when they needed to.
