I thought Figureoa struggled against a mediccre winger yesterday, and would benefit in the long run with the competition for his position.
Koumas is wasted in that position, he cuts inside too much were I feel N’Zogbia would give a bit more width on the left, and get around the back.
As for talking sh**e, drop Melchiot??? Why?Too old…slow…and has the touch of a rapistThat okay, it wouldn’t be the same if we all had the same opinion.
How the hell Melchiot keeps escaping the critics is beyond me. No pace and totally inept at all things defensive, Get Boycey back in.
Sharner wont be in the team, because he will be at Aston Villa.

Just a little story i heard yesterday, also that Waston is off too.
The Watson story was on newsnow earlier. Bob has apparently told him he doesn’t feature in his plans.
Ipwich have offered £1.5M and Cardiff want him on loan.The player wants to stay in the Prem.Watson going is old news, more than likely go on loan.
Scharner is staying/going every 24 hours. There’s a new story everyday.
As for team changes, he changed nothing from the Wolves game including our approach so I believe he’ll stick by the same team (depending on injuries).
If I were the boss, Kirkland would be dropped, how can a 6ft+ keeper get chipped in his own area so easily when he was so close to Berbatov and why does he feel there’s no need to save the ball when it’s on target? I also believe he was poor with the Wolves goal, there really wasn’t any power on that header!
I know everyone’s entitled to their own opinion but to say Figueroa should be dropped? That’s beyond belief! This guy is arguably one of the best left backs in the prem. Also, yes Mario isn’t so quick and has good and bad days but his experience and also some of the things he does on the pitch are fantastic. He is a good player and he does link up well with the right mid playing 1-2’s and getting forward well. Didn’t have a good game Saturday but for me, nobody apart from Diame and Thomas did either.

Subs: Kirkland, Scharner/Amaya, Edman, Gomez, Brown, Scotland, Cho.
Gomez is the player who needs dropping, not sure if it’s just getting used to the prem but he’s not good enough, showing no signs of improvement either. Maybe mixing it up a little will help or maybe give him one more chance to show what he can do but up to now Mr Gomez, you’re not really pulling your weight in the big league!
