My missus has started coming with me to every game, I don’t have a season ticket due to my work and to fork out £60 for 2 of us when I subscribe to ESPN and it’s a Monday night is ridiculous, I’d like to go and wouldn’t think twice at £40 but £60 takes the pee, I’ll be surprised if there’s 17500 on.
Said it many times. I can’t usually defend our “missing” fans but although Monday’s game isnt expensive by PL standards, I do think the prices should have been somewhere between £20 + £25 and although probably getting membership for a kid is quick and cheap, for non-members £20 is ridiculous.
There was only 11000 Latics fans against Everton at this price.
Heard that but thought there were more on myself.
ps Everton aren’t Liverpool.
True, this still Wigan though, where £30 is hard to find for some, if I wanted to take my wife and kids tomorrow it would cost £100, in general our prices are reasonable but I think £30 will prove too greedy to encourage people to turn out on a Monday night for a game that’s on tv.
The wigan v everton attendance was 16,869 and if wigan ath had 11,000 fans that means everton had 5,869 fans…..
With their fans in our end that’s about right. How many Latics season ticket holders are there ?
The everton end wasnt full!!!!!!!!!!!
They sold their allocation a week before kick off, that’s why I had them all around me in the West, jumping up and down when they scored and the Police and Stewards were happy to let them.(some Stewards did chuck a few out, to be fair)

Good question.
Like I said, Latics depend on good season ticket sales. The walk up is minimal.
