I know BUT it is cheap to be fair. Because they have a bigger fan base, it doesn’t mean people find it more affordable and doesn’t mean their fans have more money, but people still go. Just because Man Utd are pushing for trophies every year doesn’t mean that people miraculously have a bigger income. It is easily affordable to a single lad and in comparison to other clubs it’s very good value, in reality though for me to take my wife and two kids it would be £100 – or I can stay home and watch it on ESPN which I’m subscribed to, thus keeping £100 in my pocket to spend on an alternative hour and a half’s entertainment.
We can’t complain about the price in some ways James but many will simply choose not to go !

Dont go with the wife and kids. Go on your own. Or people can pay for themselves, therefore you will be paying the 30 quid for the ticket (and pay for kids of course). Or don’t take kids?

Still, with the cheapest season tickets in the league and many not willing to pay 30 quid on the day there needs to be a big push on season tickets next season. The aim has to be around 15,000 and is very achievable with the right marketing.

Definately, the 3 games for £30 might not be something they can do every week but the attendances against unfashionable teams show that it works, there has to be a happy medium somewhere.

If they do a family (Lets say of 4) … What about people who only have family’s of 3. If you are going to make it £50 for family of 4 ticket, and It is £30 for a ticket for 1 adult. What happens for a family of 3? Cant make it say £40… Because if it’s 30 for one person and 40 for 3 people… In business terms…That’s idiotic.£25 for 1 adult
£40 for 2 adults
£5 per additional child before you bring a family of 5 into play.Better :D

The aim has to be around 15,000 and is very achievable with the right marketing.Agreed up untill this season there was hardly any existance of a latics commercial department and it pains me to say it but we are miles behind the rugby in this department .But as you say it needs a big push on season tickets next season maybe the dearest ones at £295 are a lot to pay out at once I know you can pay by direct debit at £60 plus a month but maybe it could be spread over a little longer
