Having watched it several times is it only me who can see that the football never touched the beachball as it the beachball was kicked away fractionally before by the defender?
The question i find myself asking is how the fookin ell did they get it in the ground past the stewards? Can anyone remember the cup game v Everton in 1981? when the Latics flags all had sticks in them. Everyone had to be removed before you could get your flag in the ground. How the christ do you smuggle a big red beachball in?
