Ashvir Singh is available. Knows the club. Right wage demand to suit the owners too.
10 February 2026 at 7:39 am #206860Hopefully we get to hear what Ryan Lowe has to say. Very much doubt it though. Hands tied with contract agreement etc.
10 February 2026 at 8:04 am #206861Kendrick’s report says it all. Lowe was an arrogant prick who conned so many fans from the start
I know I was biased because of the disgraceful treatment of Maloney (and Richardson previously), but if it only took me 3 games to call out this fraud, what were the clubs higher ups doing for so long with their fingers up their arses
10 February 2026 at 2:52 pm #206866Supporter power has intensified in recent years with the mass social media channels and maybe for the very first time the supporters called all the shots on saturday night in my view.
A post by the supporters club seem to act as the final straw for Lowe on Saturday night and i cannot remember in my near 47 years as a supporter such vitriol directed towards a serving manager in all that time
For that i do feel sympathetic towards him as i am sure we all wanted him to do well when he started. For me the cracks started showing as early as last September and it was all downhill from then on.
Allegedly sending tired players to the training ground on a sunday was one of my first red flags back in september and i said at the time results would sink after that and they di
I think the club needs an old school head to get it out of this crisis and one who calls the shots out on the pitch and at the training ground rather than someone who is good in front of a camera and microphone.
Now time to focus on the Reading game , one of the most important now for many reasons
10 February 2026 at 3:27 pm #206871My pick would be Leighton Baines….he has to cut his managerial teeth somewhere and if we are this post administration, ground zero rebuild project the owner believes in then a young, ambitious, local been and done it ex player fits the bill. I agree our precarious league position screams for a Warnock type Red Adair esq man so Baines is a gamble……unless they can persuade a Warnock,Bruce,Mcarthy to step in and help him till June. Wishful thinking I know……Jungle drums seen to say Caldwell will be announced soon…..not my choice but as with any Wigan Athletic manager appointment he’ll have my support……..no choice really so no point being negative.
10 February 2026 at 5:16 pm #206873Depending on if he’ll join the circus AKA Wigan Athletic and the owner wants to show the fans he has ambition, Alan Sheehan ex Swansea would be my choice, experience only novices need not apply.
Fuck the EFL
