How did he get on in his first competitive game ?
I know we was short of right back options during the summer but is this lad good enough to cement a place in the team for the whole season ?
Why not? Give him another go tonight if he’s fit if he keeps turning in good performances then he should stay in the team in my opinion.

He started off a bit nervous but grew into the game. His link up play and passing is very good, defensively he only started to get caught out just before he was subbed, but that may have been down to his head injury.
All in all an impressive display in his first start for the club.
I remember Leighton Baines coming into the first team and having a nightmare in his first full start, was it against Northampton?? . He soon picked up the pace of the game and the rest is history. I would give young Burke a 6 or 7 out of 10 for his first Championship start, was one of our “better” players.From Matlock to ManU
