I have been asked to put this on a separate thread…
An agent in Slovenia is sorting out transfers from the 4 nearest airports you book for the Maribor game. Basically, if you sort the flights she will sort transfers and a room at a hotel for £55.
Had a few on the Manchester Zagreb flight on the Thursday morning, coming back next day for £216, transfers and room £55, total £271… no hassle.

I can also vouch for loudmouth, who has done fans proud with his Belgium trip. For those wanting in and out, his charter will suit a lot of people.
For anybody who is going over on the Wednesday to Zagreb, give me an email if you want to share our coach transfers (returning for the late flight on Friday) booked with the above lady. If you ski, we are planning to do a few hours on the slopes Thursday morning/early afternoon….. ski hire and ski pass not badly priced either. You will already have most of your ski gear with you anyway as it will be bloody freezing, so you wont need to over pack :silly:
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

11 September 2013 at 5:10 pm #120928Apparently, city centre hotel rooms are becoming harder to find now, as there has been quite a large demand over last few days…. Are we going to be taking 3,000 here as well???

The club can’t just do a free for all for Season Ticket holders like they do they for most games. There has to be some kind of points scheme for this one.
11 September 2013 at 5:54 pm #120930700 where has that info come from? Their stadium capacity is 13,000 and I’m sure by EUFA ruLes we are entitled to more than 700?
11 September 2013 at 6:06 pm #120931UEFA Regulations state that only 5% of tickets need to be allocated to away fans. That’s roughly 700 for Maribor.
11 September 2013 at 6:55 pm #120933On my calculation if the capacity is 13,000 5% equates to only 650
11 September 2013 at 8:02 pm #120935I would think they’ll let us have more if we asked. It looks like their home crowds range from about 1500 to 2800.

It looks like their home crowds range from about 1500 to 2800.I was on the Maribor forum, and admittedly Google translation made it difficult to understand, but I got the impression that they were selling these mini-season tickets for the Group and they had sold 80% of them. Granted I could have completely misunderstood that.
For whatever its worth, Birmingham had half the stand behind the goal.
11 September 2013 at 9:58 pm #120940Hey ross stop putting the frightners on me ;) However if I didn’t get a ticket I would still go and when I got to the stadium tell them I had lost my wallet with my ticket in. :)
12 September 2013 at 1:39 pm #120946On my calculation if the capacity is 13,000 5% equates to only 650 :ohmy:I’m certain I saw a number in the 600’s when I was trawling the web just after the draw, but I can’t find anything official now, best I could find were:
From a match report 2011:
The goal briefly quietened the travelling contingent of just over 600 Birmingham fansFrom the spurs ticket news archive 2012:
Loyalty Points 5 NK Maribor v Spurs Thursday 25 October Kick Off 19 00 Local Time Stadion Ljudski vrt Maribor Allocation 642 Price Adult 17 00It seems (based on a match write up on a spurs forum) that Spurs sold out but only about 300 actually went, the rest presumably just getting the tickets for the loyalty points. Can’t see many Wiganers getting a ticket and not turning up, can see a few turning up and not getting a ticket !
12 September 2013 at 4:37 pm #120955Maribor 2012/13
Average home attendance 4,746 – all competitions
Highest home attendance 12,420 v Dinamo Zagreb 28 August 2012.That would be close to capacity. Maribor (Slovenia) to Zagreb (Croatia) is only an hour and a half drive. They also drew Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), a further four and a half hours drive beyond Zagreb.
Away fans are usually given a complete section of the ground, and this determines the actual number of seats they get.
24 September 2013 at 3:17 pm #121395For information.
It seems many of the early bookers are taking this offer up, with transfers being organised from Budapest, Lubiljana and Zagreb the most popular and cheapest destinations.
I heard that Kazan received 6,500 tickets for the Maribor game, not seen it confirmed anywhere though.
24 September 2013 at 3:55 pm #121400Away clubs are entitled to receive about 650. The ground capacity is 13,000 – so 6,500 doesn’t seem very likely.
Last season, the average home attendance was 4,746 in all competitions. The highest home attendance was 12,420 v Dinamo Zagreb on 28 August 2012, close to a full house.
24 September 2013 at 3:58 pm #121401While Maribor do have only about 2,000 regular fans, the early rounds of the Champions League saw big crowds (Apoel Nicosia 12,100; Birkirkara 9,000).
The play-off gane against Zizkov was a sell-out (12,306), but you would expect that as they had a chance of getting through to the group stages of the Champions League.
However – the Rubin game only had 7,500 crowd(“gledalci” means “attendance”):
