Why do we have to have a ‘set style of play’? What exactly constitutes ‘Good football’. No, go on. ***
To me, any football is good, as long as you are winning. You play against different sides with different styles. You need to be able to mix it. Currently, we are so one dimensional, it’s frightening. You should always play to your players strengths, and to be honest, our current players strengths are very limited. Our best threat is from N’Zogbia. But is it not too obvious? Double mark him, and the threat has gone. I don’t like picking on individual players, but currently Hendry Thomas is stealing a place in the side. A very average player. The last two games have seen the midfield walked all over.

We are bad. No, hear me out, digest what I say, and then try and tell me I’m wrong.

No leadership on the field………….

(Took Boyce off for an attacking player, and stuck Scharner back there. We gained what, exactly?)

Oh how obvious is it all. Go on, stand by Roberto. Yes, legend he is, lovely bloke, not denying that. I WANT us to do well with him in charge. I really do.
But I just think that sentiment is ruling over sense. Looks well when the most experienced member of the coaching staff is Dave Watson, the youth team coach.
We are getting beaten by average sides, and any decent side is hammering us without breaking sweat. I predict 2-0 at Stoke, and 4-0 at Liverpool.

Get beat next home V Bolton and it shows how bad we really are. We’ll see what support Roberto get’s from his chairman in January, as well.

reat where to start,brum in the 1st half are the worst team i have seen at the dw this season, i will stand by bob no matter what but what i will not stand for is players who really dont give a cak or are not good enough.I watched scotland today very closely and on way home got into an argument with no doubt a jcl,he said scotland made the zoggie goal my reply was no 1 only you mate must have known he was going to shoot because i never saw it coming all in all scotland contributed nothing ,mario dosent deserve to be captain or playing not good enough now and his body language to the rest of the team is to say the least disgusting, scharner i thought was superb.Now dw slated owen in the press saying he wasnt good enough for the prem but we can shell out 4 mill plus on king got no return and 3mill on scotland and will not get any return,we could have signed owen on a free and some off the 8 mill spent on cak would have paid his wages and even if he would have only played 5 games upto this point he would have scored more than scotland.Keep your mouth shut dw and get your hand in your pocket and bring some qaulity in and get shut of the dead wood players and backroom staff,that includes jones and barrow :x

Don’t you think that youth coach, Dave Watson, should be promoted to first team involvement? Most experienced member of kids, messing about with the kids. I think he should be working on tightening that defence up.

The underlining problem with Martinez is his selection.

When will he realise that Scotland is a big of shite? He was awful again today, he will NEVER score in the Prem. He should be on the bench at a push.

RODALLEGA IS A STRIKER!!!!!!!!!!! Not a winger, this lad is a quality striker and we play him on the wing. We lose so much goal thread when he’s on teh wing.

N’Zogbia is a LEFT WINGER!!!! He is so good at dribbling, so play him on the left so he can take people on. On the right he can only come inside when dribbling, into an area of the pitch which is very crowded. He can’t dribble there.

In the second half Brum just looked more determined than us, more up for it. First to every ball etc. I question Martinez’s motivation skills as he doesn’t look like the type that would motivate a whole team.

I do believe we should stick with him though, as sacking him will do us no good.

Just before I go, why did we start hoofing it again today? We just leathered it up to that useless elephant up front, which isn’t the way we’ve been used to this season. Plus credit where it’s due to Gomez today, came on and showed some neat touches. And a belting free-kick.
