If Maloney would have come back 4 games earlier we might have seen the player he was at the end of last season to come back after 6/7 months was unbelievable it must take at least 7 or 8 first team games to even get up to match fitness
If he was not fully fit he should not have been playing. Maybe playing a half fit player could have been a contributing factor to playing so badly over the last ten or so games.

The BBC were looking at whether England players suffer burn out last week and citing that the 2010 WC squad had players in who had played 40 games that season. We played 62 and the likes of Boyce, Perch, McArthur and Barnett played the vast majority of them.
