Cant wait to hear Martinez’s excuses after this one. Out of the 14 players who featured today only 3 were not signed by him out of those three one was the captain, the other is our star player and Watson who was brought on as our final throw of the dice!
Will be interesting to hear how he can defend a £6.5 million striker who cant score a penalty, a defence who cant defend and a 5 man midfield who was made to look like school boys by Scott parker on his won27 November 2010 at 7:40 pm #51719I actually predicted that the loser of this game would go down whilst the winners would clamber their way to safety ! With hindsight it would appear that we are on our way to the Championship ! Negative ? No realistic ! :(

You seriously think he doesn’t see that the players are playing shyte? I couldn’t care less what he says to Sky TV. It’s what he and his team says/does behind closed doors that counts.
I’m not saying that he’s doing that all that well, mind…
27 November 2010 at 8:35 pm #51763Can you serious see Martinez bo11ocking the players even after a performance like today? I cant imagine it.
Even if he does it dosent seem like the players are taking much notice and why should they most of them are international who are being managed by a man who has never played higher than the third tier of english football and his biggest achievement as a manager is winning the 2 division with swansea27 November 2010 at 8:37 pm #51766Can you serious see Martinez bo11ocking the players even after a performance like today? And as far as Martinez’s experience goes, that’s far more experience than Jose Mourinho had.

Maybe Sammy, maybe :(27 November 2010 at 9:08 pm #51777We don’t seem to have improved in the past year
We still haven’t won 2 games on the bounce under Martinez
We looked very poor against bottom of the league, who have won just 1 game all season
We have scored the least goals in the league, and have the worst goal difference.
The tactics just don’t work.
I know, moan, moan, moan

The difference between Martinez and Mourinho is simply this –
Martinez – good lower league player, crap manager
Mourinho – bobbins player, world class manager
The gulf in class is vast. However, none of the people who support martinez staying offer anything at all as a balanced argument for this other than that the argument for him to go is wrong.
What has he achieved since arrival? What is better under Martinez? THe management team wage bill reduction is the only positive.

You must have read his mind
