Maybe Dave has finally had a word.

His time maybe almost at an end.

Reckon he’s got the Stoke and Everton games to do something.

Arsenal is a home banker anyway so the result of that doesnt matter.

I think whether he goes or not depends entirely on what funds, if any, DW would make available to a new manager in January.

Might struggle to get someone new in if he is forced to work with this current squad – minus Cleverley and N’Zogbia, of course – for the rest of the season.

Whelan said that he’d never sack him, but that still leaves the wily beggar with some wiggle room. I’d expect a serious talk followed by Bob leaving by mutual consent if things don’t pick up. It’s a shame because on paper we’ve got some good players but I think anyone can see that one up front isn’t working. We’re taking proven goalscorers and jst ruining heir confidence.

What worries me is the players body language. You often hear about managers ” losing the dressing room” ie the spoilt buggers dont want to play for Bob. The way Scott Parker, back after a chest infection plus played all the game, out paced Ben Watson for the third goal. The desire to get there was with Parker, hes hardly renowned for his pace.

Ben Watson would want to prove his worth, and win a starting place in the team. If Parker is beating him to the ball, I’m sure it’s simply a case of Scott Parker being quicker than Ben Watson, nothing more.
