If anybody wants to go to go this Thursday to have a chat with Roberto (it will be around 4.00 p.m.), I have a two places to fill – I will give exact place to the two who go.
The only caviat is that I would need one of the two to do a write up, and/or a recording of the interview/chat.
I have been to many of these, but I want a couple of you who think it is a love in to experience it for themselves. So email me at editor@cockneylatic.co.uk if you are interested and I will pick two of you to go….

Ok, so if you were going to this, what kind of (sensible) question would you ask that gives him half a chance to answer honestly without being forced to just give a very woolly, non-answer?
For example, “Don’t you think you are a complete imbecile for persevering with this moronic 1-up front malarkey” would probably get straight=batted back at you.
Whereas “Is Wigan’s lack of financial muscle the main reason why we primarily buy young, presumably cheap, unproven players rather than older, presumably expensive, experienced players and if so, is it not therefore inevitable that we would always struggle at the lower end of the Premier League?” might illicit more of a response.
Just two possible examples, what would you ask, given the chance?

The main thing i’d like to ask him, is his opinion on why he thinks we have had a couple of obvious periods this year, that we have seemed to have played poorly and the results show this. Followed by periods of really decent football, even though results haven’t always gone our way.
The two good periods are now and the time before Christmas when we drew against Chelsea and Liverpool. Before, we really struggled and afterwards until around now, when we have played well for a number of games now.
Just like to know if he can put his finger on it.
The other is with the number of corners and crosses that we now seem to get and the lack of goals there from, how does he think we can better utilise these situations as it is really noticeable from the stands the amount that the ball actually gets into the box.
Constructive questions i’d say?

When did Griff mention he was going ? For the record, I would ask him to give the full low down on the Boselli business ! Was he considered not good enough despite forking out a record transfer fee or did the playing him up front on his own leave him bereft of any previous confidence because he isn’t that sort of player as was pre warned by certain parties ? Ask him who is paying his wages at this present juncture and will we ever see him again !

I just presumed you was going thats why i thought you was asking never mind i wont meet you after all.
The Boselli situation is my number 1 question, be honest i dont really have any others.

Feel free to ask the Boselli question, but those who read the write up on the Supporters Club Fans Forum would already know the answer….Basically he and his family found it very hard to settle over here and hence his loan moves. He is however nearly two years older and has sort of said he would like to give it another go over here next season (final year of contract).
Who is paying all his wages ? I believe he is involved in a non payment of income tax wrangle at the moment as well !!
It was mentioned and yes he is, the wages I think are being wholy picked up by Estudiantes.

Can’t believe some of you lot are still moaning? For crying out loud, one defeat in 7 with away wins at Liverpool and Bolton, what the hell do you want?
We wanted the team to give 100%, they,re doing it. We wanted an improvement in form, we’ve got it.
We wanted an improvement in atmosphere, we’ve got it.
We wanted to instill belief, 1 point from safety we’ve got it.I’ll be asking real questions and trying to inspire confidence and build up towards Saturdays meet n greet versus Stoke, not doing my best to ruin it. :P
