In his contract with Nero, once Wigan are relegated, Bobby can be sacked with no compensation payable.
So at least something positive will come of the impending drop.
Championship, new man in charge, barro, jones and the other losers down the road. The futures bright.
Bye bye Premier League, bye bye Bobby and your g0d awful management team, bye bye payed openly biased referees, cr4ppy match of the day and Whelan soundbites.
Time to draw a line and enjoy the time in the Championship.

Have you decided where your £50 to charity is going ?

you been drinking meths, bob aint going nowhere
But surely Garswood if you are a good manager it doesnt matter what league you are in. A good manager makes game changing decisions, substitutions etc and it shows in results and more importantly in players performances. RM is one dimensional and rigid in his gameplans and as its shown so often this season he simply hasnt got the nous to close a game out from a winning position. I dont think he will make it whatever division he manages in until he accepts that his way at the present time simply doesnt work. You can tell a good manager when he is the first to admit his mistakes and does everything he can to alter things.
I’m a bit puzzled by these comments (nothing new there then).
Most of the opinion seems to be that either at the least he is struggling or at the worst is completely out of his depth in the Premiership.
However, I think it is fairly widely recognised that he is a very good Championship level manager.
If we go down then surely he is exactly the sort of manager we need.
I’m not sure how good he actually was, at that level.
He took Swansea to the grand heights of 8TH place in the Championship, and they were six points off a play off spot. 8th was good for Swansea, but would it be deemed good for us, as a relegated side?
But for his history with us, Whelan would never have even considered him, for the job.
All this said, and I reiterate once again that Whelan said in FOURFOURTWO magazine, last month, that “If we go down this season, we’ll try and get back up next season, WITH Roberto”.
I don’t believe he is going anywhere, and there’s hardly an abundence of managers available, is there? Ok, I’d have Allardyce, personally I don’t mind him, I like the ‘up and at em’ style. But he’s said himself he believes he should ‘stay in the Premiership’.
I wouldn’t be disappointed if Roberto actually went, but then again, I’m not sure what we’d do for a replacement.
I think you will find that Swansea under Bob played the fabled 4 5 1
Swansea drew far more games than they won or lost
There you have it more of the same when we reach the next level !!
Yes, cos Martinez is the only manager that plays 451, isn’t he? [/quote]
He is the way we play it. Had Bob discovered the 4-5-1 formation and showed it to the world the way we play it there would no longer be 4-5-1
