29 November 2013 at 2:56 am #123956Seems like young Callum couldnt be arsed again
Even Boycie was having a go at him
Can you blame him? He didn’t have a role. Rather than hug the line he was always 10 yards in and was either being bypassed or taking the ball standing still and just passing it back out cos he had 2-3 players on him. Several times tonight it looked like he was the right back and Boyce was the marauding winger.
When he finally got into the game with about 15 min to go he got subbed!29 November 2013 at 3:02 am #123959Should have been subbed after 15 minutes – not 15 before the end
29 November 2013 at 4:44 am #123976What was the point of having either winger on tonight, when we didn’t have a striker.
Can you imagine Man Utd playing with two wingers with Michael Carrick as the only forward.29 November 2013 at 10:27 am #123982Spot on that Horc.
In the days when we played football imagine seeing the team sheet for a big game…
Ellington and Roberts on the bench with a midfielder upfront on his own!!29 November 2013 at 12:05 pm #123995Spot on that Horc.

Ellington and Roberts on the bench with a midfielder upfront on his own!!I see what you did there
29 November 2013 at 12:13 pm #123997Given Roberts and Ellingtons scoring record in comparison to Holt and Fortunes this season one could argue it makes a modicum of sense to play an attacking midfielder who has scored more than both of them put together this season up front in a game which is hardly vital. Even though he wasnt at his best he still looks better up front than those two.
29 November 2013 at 12:23 pm #124002so the answer is to leave them both on the bench for the season?
#coyleout
29 November 2013 at 12:26 pm #124003No. Get loan striker in, sign another in Jan then get shut of one or both.
29 November 2013 at 12:35 pm #124007I think people seem to forget that McManaman is a young player, hasnt even played league football for more than 12 months, and given we seem to be relying on him it is a lot of pressure, look at Sterling at Liverpool its easy to explode onto the scene and then fail to live up to your hype. Martinez caged him and motivated him well and let him go at the end of the season. This has to be down to Coyle.
29 November 2013 at 1:42 pm #124015Aye. Hes only approaching 23 having made his debut 4 years ago. Hes played 50 games now. Not sure this compares to an 18 year old Sterling. Anyway. Lets blame Coyle despite the fact hes probably played 5 decent games for us in his career!

He makes one good run and cuts it back for the goal then gets subbed.
16 December 2013 at 12:20 am #124860Thats bol loocks and you know it

WELL,WELL, I know 1 swallow doesnt make summer but i would say hes almost back, and by the way tea bag ask roy the england manager why he played steridge when he wasnt fit17 December 2013 at 12:44 am #124916Have been one of his biggest critics thats agreed – yesterday he played well thats agreed.
Whats not agreed is that he suddenly nay miraculously ‘becomes fit’ when there is a change of manager.
