WTF is going on with this site?
We are now being threatened with banning orders from our own site from an egg chaser that has spat his dummy out and locked topics because he doesn’t like a bit of chubby baiting.
I thought this was a WAFC website site.
If we want to criticise the state they leave our pitch in, the fact our seats get buckled by their fans weight or just plain and simply take the piss out of them , we should be able to.
The Egg may also watch the Latics, but the vast majority have always, and will always detest them.
If he doesn’t like the fact that the peanut clodders will never be liked by most of us, then he should butt out of the threads himself and let everyone else just get on with it.
This is a Latics website for Latics fans and should not be moderated by someone who bats for the other side.

I reckon egg is just sick off reading rugby baiting, but if it gets posted in the non football bit where’s the harm, can’t see why someone should be taking a break for having a go at the rugby, as long as its in the right section and its not breaking any other rules. Sorry for accusing you of such a sin, I hope I haven’t harmed you for life, and I hope that you will eventually get over such a awful accusation.

can’t see why someone should be taking a break for having a go at the rugby, as long as its in the right section and its not breaking any other rules. Just don’t read it if you find it boring and repetitive, simple.Which is exactly what I said. The main forum is for WAFC topics and not childish posts about the rugby.

The threads were deleted in order to stop this sort of thing but hey ho. As you quite rightly say Horc “WTF is going on with this site”. Instead of talking about a massive win yday or the upcoming trip to Wembley or the possible implosion at Sunderland, people are yet again posting about the rugby be it blaming them for the state of the pitch or laughing at a low crowd. It’s pathetic, but what’s worse is that I knew it’d happen. Obviously there wasn’t going to be a thread about the crowd or the result so the next thing is the pitch. Next week instead of talking about Wembley or a win over QPR (hopefully) we’ll be discussing how the crowd against Wakefield was only around 13k.
This IS a Wigan Athletic site and due to that I’d expect most topics to be about Wigan Athletic but they aren’t. If you want to laugh at the rugby for whatever reason you see fit then do it on the non-football section and keep it to the one thread instead of starting umpteen threads on the FOOTBALL board.
That’s all I was saying, yes I maybe did it slightly OTT by threatening a ban but I’m sick to the back teeth of wanting to read/talk about WAFC and seeing countless childish posts about the rugby which you all claim not to give a sh*t about yet seem to know more than I do about it. I’m not the only one who is starting to find it annoying either BTW.

I liken us to the spotty geek in the playground, wearing NHS glasses. An easy target for the bullies. Picked on and ridiculed for years, until one day the geeks had enough. He loses the glasses, joins a gym, and builds himself up. He then stands up to the bully, who suddenly wants to be friends with him…..
Sounds familiar? If we were still lower division and struggling, would they want to be so friendly and ‘let bygones be bygones’? Would they hell.

It all started because I criticized the pitch, saying it was bumpy and bobbly after the rugby game the day before, which was fact. I never once aimed any abuse at Wigan rugby…I don’t give them much brain space, to be honest. I just said that maybe in future the fixtures could be planned better.
Someone at the match mentioned some stipulation regarding us playing Premier League games after rugby games. They implied that we aren’t supposed to play AFTER the rugby have played. Is that right?
I definitely thought the run of the ball was poor on Saturday. Look at the miskicks from McManaman and Maloney? Bobbly pitch.

The threads were not locked because they touched a nerve they were locked because they were on the wrong board and pointless. The 2nd and 3rd were locked to stop dragging up the same nonsense.
We have enough to talk about at the moment without mentioning the rugby crowds or the possibility they ruined the pitch.
Rugby threads can be posted but on this board.
The ban threat was to try and get ppl to comment on the numerous WAFC threads that were active. I wouldn’t ban someone for a rugby based comment unless it broke several rules such as racism.
