24 October 2018 at 1:52 am #172584Please someone explain the team changes tonight after a great Saturday effort.5 mins to go and another away defeat on the cards !!!!Once again you wait till after the game before moaning about the team selection. Roberts probably couldn’t walk after that 89 min stint. Powell deffo carrying injury, Byrne not sure what happened. We lost tonight due to the penalty miss. We go 2 up they are dead and buried. Now the team selection had no bearing on what lost it for us tonight.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!24 October 2018 at 2:00 am #172585And Macmanaman’s excuse ?, Has he run over Cooks cat ?. Morsey needs dropping for me, poor…overall another horrible performance and against another bottom 3 club.
Both center halfs and James are our best players. But remember, if your always under pressure your bound to make the odd mistake. If they didn’t they wouldn’t be at Latics
24 October 2018 at 2:04 am #172587Get a grip and stop …no we didn’t lose to a penalty miss….10 corners against 2….21 attempts against 8…..isn’t it about time you stopped making excuses for some of his tactical screw ups….Team selection showed Millwall zero respect and got treated as it should be.Rovers beat Leeds Sat…..did he rest key players with Sat in mind ?….No played his same 11 and were beaten by better side.. . How many more away shit shows are you going to defend ??..
24 October 2018 at 2:06 am #172588One eye on Saturday maybe but the points were there tonight.
Miss penalties in tight games and it will be crucial but no grigg and no Powell who is going to smash it.24 October 2018 at 2:10 am #172589That was as bad a performance as Preston without the goals. Crazy how the team can play so well with such intensity Saturday then turn in utter shite like that tonight. Vaughan simply isnt good enough to play at this level.
24 October 2018 at 2:12 am #172590Miss penalty!!! We had one shot on target tonight. We only had 3 on target on Saturday but by playing a defensive midfielder Connolly as right sided midfielder and dropping Powell just doesn’t do anything to help our attack.
24 October 2018 at 2:22 am #172591He’s proving as obstinate as Martinez, we could lose ten aways on the bounce but he’ll carry on setting up to stifle the opposition(regardless if we are facing top or bottom) and we’ll continue to create nothing, score nothing (let’s ignore the literal gift O.G.tonight) and we always concede.
Whatever he thinks the away form shows we can’t execute his negative plans, we may as well go down in a blaze of glory (like at Villa) as suffer this turgid dross.A crying shame that we serve up that crap after such a fine display last Saturday……
24 October 2018 at 2:27 am #172592One eye on Saturday maybe ….That doesn’t really make sense.
Millwall was a far more winnable game, so go for the points in that one.24 October 2018 at 2:29 am #172593Very poor tonight.
You’d think we’d be up for it after the win on Saturday and the need to reverse an awful away record especially after the embarrassment at Preston but we were slow, lacklustre and out fought.
We didn’t have a single shot on target yet went one up and we’re awarded a penalty.
Jekyll and Hyde performances.24 October 2018 at 2:41 am #172594Very poor tonight.

Jekyll and Hyde performances.Connolly, Naismith in support and Vaughan spearheading the attack could explain the difference from Saturday. All three are not Championship standard.

Nobody looked Championship standard tonight.

Football fan in “he was shit anyway” shocker after player leaves his club
Not quite:
https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/vaughan.1383017/ – Thread started based on his “effort” in the pre-season games.
After a month of league games where he got no better and spent most of his time on his arse – https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/vaughan.1390388/%5B/quote%5D
And, no – we wont be buying him back to spearhead our 3rd division campaign ;)

FFS I’m not defending our shyte display at all, we would have probably gone on and won the game if we had gone two up. It should have been 3 up if Vaughn had scored when clean through. We played crap tonight without a doubt but still should have won.
How many saves did Walton have to make, let’s be honest Millwall were shyte to.From Matlock to ManU
