Very strange that the arrogant jumped up squirt swears at a camera and gets a two match ban.
Same thug elbows a Latics player that could have potentially taken his eyeout which is caught on camera and he gets nothing.
Joke.
Didnt hear Fergie crying about the ref again this week and not sending Vidic off which had a huge effect on the final outcome of the game.
No doubt the horrible little c**t will feel hard done by, probably the most detestable footballer in England at the moment, and that’s saying something!
Agree entirely with the above two posts. I’ve become bored senseless with all the media debate about Rooney since the weekend, when his real crime of late was the incident against us.
Having said all that I hope Ferggie puts an appeal in and turns up at the hearing with footage of all the footballers over the years who have blatantly sworn after:-
1) Scoring a goal
2) Missing a goal
3) Been sent off
4) Been fouled from behind
5) Picked up a trophy
etc. etc. etc.
The one that sticks in my mind and is still shown regular with no blurred out mouth, is John Barnes scoring for Liverpool “You fuc**ing beauty” he mouths for everyone to observe.
Whilst not being a lover of Shrek, I really hope Ferggie fights toe to toe with the self righteous set of pompous gits, that is the FA. :angry-soapbox:

He swore into a camera with a mic on it and you could hear him clear as day !! Kids were watching that and regardless of what they may hear in the street or playground daily, they should not be hearing it from a professional footballer who should be setting an example to the kids of today !! :angry-soapbox:

A deliberate elbow to the face and gets away with it,
Slaps in a transfer request in order to get £200k a week,
Was shocking at the world cup,
Cheats on his wife with owd prossies,
Swears into a camera on tv when kids are watching,
Need I go on?
This could become the next ‘never ending thread’ – Wayne Rooney’s character flaws!

This is one argument that always gets my goat.
Professional footballers, no matter how highly paid they may be, are paid to play football. They are not paid to be any sort of role model to anyone & neither should they be
I hope everyone getting on their soapbox about Rooney’s outburst at the weekend never swears within a football ground when there are kids, women & others about who might be offended by it. That’s as against the rules of entry to a football ground as Rooney’s outburst was against the laws of association football
Lets be honest here, the rooney suspension was issued by the FA because they wanted to protect the brand of the premierleague, in countries in the far east who would have been offended by it. Nothing to do with respect or kids in this country, as most teams ignore it anyway.
How many cameras are on a ground when it’s live on SKY he didn’t know they were showing that camera at that time ( ITV would have been showing a Honda advert) The producer should have switched cameras when he went running towards it.
lots of players run towards cameras when they score and kiss it or cheer into it or something. Most don’t swear like a big angry shrek. He’s a revolting man shouldn’t have even been allowed to play that match anyway
I think the game would have been his first one back after a 3 game ban. I don’t know what all the fuss is about, if the FA want to cut it out then they need to run a course on how to control a massive adrenaline rush.

Hate him with a passion.
Actually Northern I think you’re being a bit unfair on him there.
He cheats on his wife with young prossies now , not owd ones. :naughty:
