If you’re suggesting there’s a time and place for goal music and that it has to be the right tune then it’s already on dodgy ground. It’s either right or wrong. Well not even that. It’s just wrong.
Doubt Wolves fans would agree Sammy Liquidator is an integral part of their match day experience and along with Hi ho silver lining which they come out to has become their identity in a way. This at a ground that normally has great atmosphere.
Are we talking here about music played when teams come out on the pitch, for which I have no objection, or after a goal is scored?

Stumbled across this did you say fil.. Way back from 2010
Yeah, Googled ‘Music played after goals scored’ !
This bleeding tablet drops text from posts on occasions fil so when I clicked submit there was a smiley face and comment about their prawn sandwich brigade lot.
Ps, old Trafford could do with some music as their place was atmosphere free when we played them in the cup last time.

Jimmy … Totally agree. I was expecting something special on our trip to oT. The biggest surprise of the week was what a sterile un-atmospheric place it was. Thank heavens us lot were there. I’ve never been to such a ‘silent’ stadium. Quite odd.
9 September 2018 at 4:09 pm #171649Do you think playing music would have enhanced the goal celebrations when N’Zogbia crashed in that last gasp winner off the post against Arsenal or when he scored another in our comeback against West Ham to relegate them and allow us the chance to secure our Premiership place against Stoke, or perhaps when Maloney smacked in that goal against United and finally, and most notably, Will Grigg’s finish against City when the roof almost lifted off?
No need for silly music there to prompt us and allow middle aged men to make a prat of themselves by gyrating along to it.“Ah, but the kids love it”.
Do you think that in years to come when those kids are asked what turned them into lifelong Latics fans they are going to recall it’s because music was played when a goal was scored or that it was the unforgettable experience provided by the likes of N’Zogbia, Maloney, Grigg and Ben Watson?9 September 2018 at 4:41 pm #171650Do you think playing music would have enhanced the goal celebrations when N’Zogbia crashed in that last gasp winner off the post against Arsenal or when he scored another in our comeback against West Ham to relegate them and allow us the chance to secure our Premiership place against Stoke, or perhaps when Maloney smacked in that goal against United and finally, and most notably, Will Grigg’s finish against City when the roof almost lifted off?

Unfortunately it is not our decision and I fear it will continue for a while yet.
We will have to grit our teeth and put up with it until the powers that be decide otherwise.9 September 2018 at 6:30 pm #171653Do you think playing music would have enhanced the goal celebrations when N’Zogbia crashed in that last gasp winner off the post against Arsenal or when he scored another in our comeback against West Ham to relegate them and allow us the chance to secure our Premiership place against Stoke, or perhaps when Maloney smacked in that goal against United and finally, and most notably, Will Grigg’s finish against City when the roof almost lifted off?

Sorry boys but case not closed. The poll actually is not conclusive and is around the 50% mark. Unless you think the case is closed cos your vote is final?. If that’s the case then please pull the pole admin.

Lighten up lad, its only a bit of fun.
Anyway the gap between Y & N is a bit wider, as I voted ‘yes’ early in the vote just to try to wind up donnyspage.9 September 2018 at 11:14 pm #171657Do you think playing music would have enhanced the goal celebrations when N’Zogbia crashed in that last gasp winner off the post against Arsenal or when he scored another in our comeback against West Ham to relegate them and allow us the chance to secure our Premiership place against Stoke, or perhaps when Maloney smacked in that goal against United and finally, and most notably, Will Grigg’s finish against City when the roof almost lifted off?
