Performed by a singer who’s on in your local.
Keep it sensible, mind. Please no abstract ‘B’ sides, Sepultura, or anything ‘way out’.
Has to be fairly popular, I.E. Stereophonics, Oasis, etc.
Anything from 60’s onwards, please.
Cheers.

If it makes you happy – Sheryl Crow.28 September 2009 at 11:49 pm #9942Come on Guyshhhhh! (as they’d say in Holland.)
Need some ideas for new songs to do.
Remember “The public gets what the public wants” or summat like that. :P

Bright Side Of The Road- Van Morrison
Just Looking- Stereophonics
Brown Sugar- Rolling Stones
Hard To Handle- Otis Redding/Black Crowes

29 September 2009 at 3:15 pm #9982depends on the singer.
there’s nothing that repulses me more than an overweight balding thirtysomething trying to be noel gallagher with an acoustic guitar. i can’t understand why anyone would gain enjoyment from it.tell me more about yourself and ki’ll be able to offer some sound advice. :D :D :D
29 September 2009 at 3:59 pm #9986I’m 33.
Not bald. In fact, I need a haircut as it happens.
Not really overweight. I aint no skinny Weller type, but I aint a Rik Waller, either. Go the gym 5 times a week, so there you go.
Noel Gallagher is actually 41, anyway. I met him a few weeks back, in Bournemouth.
Why would people get enjoyment from it? Because it’s better than some fat split-ar*e screaming on a karaoke, that’s why.
I wish they’d ban it. (Karaoke) It makes every pr*ck who once murdered a song, think they can go out gigging. No. They can’t. Standing up there doing 25-30 songs, without a fu*kin screen to read the words off, AND get chords right, is a hell of a bit different.
