MMmmm that a big list then !24 June 2016 at 1:09 pm #149191For a rock-solid Labour constituency, a 60:40 vote against their party’s wishes is a pretty big vote of no confidence.
Did Nandy and the councillors actually campaign hard in Wigan for a “Remain” vote, or were they busy making a fuss about rail services from 2017, lap dancing clubs and other minor issues that could have waited until today?
24 June 2016 at 1:39 pm #149192That shower could have campaigned 24/7 and it wouldnt have changed my mind, and i think that goes for the 64% of Wiganers that stuck two fingers up to them.
And yes Nandy must go and take her parasitic colleagues with her!
Fuck the EFL

27 June 2016 at 10:12 pm #149240She was on telly on Saturday saying “she was really worried for her constituents”.
Well,I’ll tell you what love, dont worry about us,worry about your shambles of a party and your job.

If there was a General Election tomorrow, she would still get voted in by a country mile such is the electorate of Wigan.
Then again, put a red rosette on a dog turd in Wigan and it would get elected.28 June 2016 at 2:06 pm #149257And yet the people of Wigan didn’t listen to Labour when voting out of the EU nor did any other small Northern town for that matter.
I think we can safely say that generally the people of Wigan don’t really understand politics and the effects of a vote.
They do like a moan though.
28 June 2016 at 5:17 pm #149261I see Nigel’s embarrassing himself at the EU Parliament today.
29 June 2016 at 12:31 am #149265I see Nigel’s embarrassing himself at the EU Parliament today. Why is it, that you obviously don’t like people who tell it as it is ? You’ll thank him when you wake up and realise that he has rescued us from the clutches of the looming superstate.

You think it’s a good idea to “gloat” and slag off the people you ultimately have to negotiate with to secure agreements that will be of benefit to the UK?
29 June 2016 at 2:14 am #149269British politics is in a total mess of which I have never seen the like before. Lying PM, opposition leader who looks like Compo the scruffy get comedy characters in Farage and Boris and MPs from all parties going against the leadership. Spitting Image would have a field day if it was still on the box.
29 June 2016 at 12:47 pm #149271I watched it live. Cringe was not the word.
They were embarrassed for us, saying it like it was, that Farage used Nazi style propaganda and downright lies in his campaign and people fell for it.
First job losses directly affecting people I know today, as a major North West distributor has announced they will be pulling out of the UK, at meeting with workers this morning.
Not that I’m suggesting it, as you reap what you sow but if there was a 2nd referendum, how many of the 28% abstainers and how many of the original leave voters would vote to remain do you think? In my view there would be a bigger margin to remain than there was originally to leave.

But whatever this company was distributing will still need hauling around the country, so his loss will be somebody else’s gain.29 June 2016 at 4:46 pm #149275First job losses directly affecting people I know today, as a major North West distributor has announced they will be pulling out of the UK, at meeting with workers this morning.
