Great article from Cook very true how short term supporter’s are nowadays. You win and your a genius, you lose and your an idiot. You know who you are
20 November 2017 at 11:08 am #163453It wasn’t fans who let players go on holiday in the middle of the season and not give some players valuable match time. It wasn’t fans who broke the momentum and cancelled the Rochdale match because we had in reality lost one player.
But never mind it’s onwards and upwards and beat Doncaster and we’re back on the rails again.20 November 2017 at 11:24 am #163454It wasn’t fans who let players go on holiday in the middle of the season and not give some players valuable match time. But never mind it’s onwards and upwards and beat Doncaster and we’re back on the rails again. The only negativity at the moment is from Cook, it was plain and simple what was wrong and what was needed against Bradford, he seems to dig his heels in when he gets stick from the fans, hence putting Grigg on for about 30 seconds when he should have started the game or at least got half an hour!
Fuck the EFL
20 November 2017 at 11:51 am #163455Six of one and half a dozen of the other for me.
The players need a break at times and I have no issue with them going away, but the two performances after we have had a break have been poor so things need looking at with what they do on holiday.
Cook seems stubborn at times with his substitutions and Saturday looked as though he was playing for a point. Could easily have made chanes with 20-30 to go to try and win the game.
20 November 2017 at 12:11 pm #163456Cook seems stubborn at times with his substitutionsJust like most managers TBH.
20 November 2017 at 12:36 pm #163457Blackburn and Shrewsbury both missed a game…..didn’t stop them winning!!…..Lack of strikers massive issue…..and Grigg no game time on Saturday a right balls up as was the checktrade trophy debacle. I for one reckon stuff the break they have enough free time during and end of season and paid accordingly.
20 November 2017 at 2:06 pm #163458Performances have been poor of late and he’s trying to gloss over things, I can see us 5th by Christmas then storming the New Year (that’s what my fortune teller said) oh and have a punt on AFC Flyde.

20 November 2017 at 3:43 pm #163461Going off the body language in the director’s box I suspect Cook had a bit of explaining to do after the game.
20 November 2017 at 3:47 pm #163462You think we are bad a West Ham fan on talk shoite last night called for Moyes to be sacked.
As for us its the age old problem of not having a striker who scores regularly. Giving Will the Accy game off was just brain dead. Especially as Toney cant hit a bulls arse with a banjo. Many on here were doing cartwheels when Cookie threw the game without giving any of the lads who need match sharpness a run out. It was a stupid idea then and its looking even more stupid now. Not to mention the backlash coming from the EFL. I would say that before the Accrington game there was little or no negativity especially amongst the fans.
20 November 2017 at 7:51 pm #163465I think we are all reading a little too much into things.
Yes our form against the sides around us could be better, but we are still 2nd in the table and well on track to do what we set out to do. No need to hit panic just yet.

Still no need for us to take our foot off the gas, we need to get back to playing the football that got us to 2nd otherwise we won’t be there much longer.
Far too much messing about been done this past 2/3 weeks!
Fuck the EFL
20 November 2017 at 9:39 pm #163467I was quite happy with the Checkatrade game, but calling the Rochdale game off was stupid. Clearly he wanted to have the lads fresh for Saturday but it backfired.
21 November 2017 at 11:38 am #163471Going off the body language in the director’s box I suspect Cook had a bit of explaining to do after the game.Maybe thats why he’s trying to cover his tracks, it looks like changes are imminent!
