Does anyone really care for Team england anymore, just a shower of shoite pampered and indulged beyond belief, having said that, all the cars will be flying there little flags soon and people will be saying we can win it,only to be let down again :O)

The thing is if people want to get behind Wigan, probably no reason why it should bother the rest of us. None of us will be let down if they dont win, only those who believe the media hype or just want to believe.

So I suspect there are plenty who believe the dream, so let em get on with it !

men of a certain age should incur a fine for wearing a replica shirt.

Listen mate, I’ve always worn mine to games in the hope that I’ll get a last minute call over the tannoy that the team are a player short & need me to play, & I shall continue to do so!! ;)

Although at 50 quid for this new England shirt I think I’ll be putting my international aspirations on hold

What season did we play in the prem and not play in blue & white?.If your gonna reply then at least read the post. My point is we have somehow gone from white/navy to white /red of course styles change but colours!!!!![/quote]

It should be white and red. Pees me off that English National teams constantly have blue kits (or kits with blue on).

            I’ll be getting it.

With that logic Italy should be in green, white and red, Germany in black, red and gold and Holland in red, white and blue. It doesn’t work like that. The point is that we have worn white and navy-blue for over a hundred years and are only changing now because someone wants to make a quick buck.

The answer of course if we don’t like it is don’t buy it.

Totally different scenario. Those Countries, like Australia and New Zealand, have adopted a colour that each and everyone of their rep sides wear. We haven’t as ours range from White/Red, White/Blue and plain White.

IMO our traditional colours are White/Red at home and Red/White away. We, like Scotland, Ireland and Wales have opted to follow the colours of our flag. Where is the blue on our flag?

I wouldn’t mind us adopting a black kit as our own though as I always think they look smart.

German athletics used to wear white with a red band (I know – I’m very sad to know that), Italy’s motor racing colours were red, New Zealand football team are the All Whites.

The Welsh flag is principally green and white (with a red dragon) – the original Welsh football colours were green and white halves. Where’s the red come from. The Ulster flag is white and red.

England’s football team have worn white and navy-blue since the 1880s. England rugby wore (until a couple of years ago) white jerseys and shorts with navy socks and white tops. So our “representative colours” are white and navy-blue.

are the shorts red aswell george, or still navy?

must admit i like white with red trim, dont think navy shorts would suit though.

I don’t know for sure but I think they’re white

The worse part for me is the fact that the 3 lions looks really naff in red.If your gonna faff about then do it with the away kit.
