Thats a good reminder Sammy, Whelan definitely saved them. Recall Whelan saying he would never do business with Tom Rathbone again. That bloke was looking out for himself and not the rugby club!
Well there seems to be a new argument about the 26th Feb Rugby fixture and Latics home game on the 27th. I’m sure Latics have asked for the fixture to be played at Salford.
Let’s face it , the rugby will have tore the pitch up twice before we get to play on it again and with rain due till Monday God only knows what it will look like Sunday morning after those fat chubby sliding belly flop fockers get on it again !!!.
If we wanna go up get then there should be a max of 1 game per week divided between rugby or football or send the fat gets down the wreck in Whelley, there’s enough room for the crowd if they rope it off.
