Thanx Charlie,am off on my hols in morning, and that has just put a dampener on it all.Tight get!!!
12 August 2010 at 11:24 pm #42238I really think this request came in long before today. I imagine the team who played at Dundee was Bobby’s potential starting line up or near enough and charlie boy didn’t leave the bench, with moses playing the right wing back role.
That tells me that something was amiss, suprisingly nobody mentioned it on here and i had only just got back off my hols on Sunday and couldn’t be ars_ed. :(From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!12 August 2010 at 11:43 pm #42242If he does play on Sat lets boo him everytime he gets the ball :D
12 August 2010 at 11:56 pm #42245I think we should accept his transfer request then let him go only when we have a replacement and the fee that the club wants
in reality everyman and his dog has expected nzogbia to leave in the close season, even whelan/martinez,so i think that any possible replacement will have already been identified.[/quote]
A pacey left footed player able to cut in and score against some of the best teams in the world…. the mind boggles!
13 August 2010 at 12:57 am #4224935 starts and only 6 assists and 5 goals last season. Poor. Let him go.
That said, I think Bruce will et more out of him by playing him in his natural left sided position.
13 August 2010 at 1:56 am #42252To be honest, I don’t get what people are saying.
He is a good player who has been made to play on the right and has become a better player. In my view, he is still a mediocre left winger. Anyone who went to Sjoke would have seen how easy it was for Huth to run n’zogbia out into the sidelines but on the right..he does the business.
I am really not that bothered if he stays or if he goes…and that’s my honest truth.
[and it would be nice to get a player who would pass time to time
]
13 August 2010 at 3:03 am #42253If he does go, and let’s be honest it’s looking likely, who would we want coming in. With us having a ready made replacement in Moses, we could use the money to buy Tuncay.
With Mr Whelan pocketing the rest.
I kinda agree with Mr Cornflake about not caring if he goes, but I don’t see the point in him joining a club like Sunderland, Stoke or Birmingham who’ll all struggle to finish top ten this season.
13 August 2010 at 7:16 am #42258To hand in a transfer request 2 days before the start of the season is a) a really $h!tty thing to do & b) show’s to me that someone from another club has been talking to him or his agent behind Latics backI disagree, I think it has happened as he didn’t want to disrepect us by handing in the request and just wanted to see if someone would come in for him and a sale would go through. I think that he had always planned to go but now it seems as though he is staying he has decided that handing in the request is the only way to actually gain the move. Another possibility is that his French coach has said move to a biger club??

13 August 2010 at 9:44 pm #42320or it could be rubbish rumours again nothing on wish fm all day apart from scotland going to ipswich nothing in the evening post and nothing else on sky don’t get me wrong if he does put a transfer in i will be the first to boo him but it does look like rubbish rumours.
13 August 2010 at 10:40 pm #42324If he does play on Sat lets boo him everytime he gets the ball :DI’m not going as a protest – and I’m going to burn my season ticket too
13 August 2010 at 11:35 pm #42326If he does play on Sat lets boo him everytime he gets the ball :DLets not it could be ssn stiring it up. he hasn’t handed it in yet so its just a rumor, so lets just wait until he does, that is if he does .
The fact is he is still a wigan athletic player ,fair enough booing if he hands it in and moves to sunderland or birmingham or sjoke but when he is a wigan player it will make him want to move more13 August 2010 at 11:54 pm #42328No Charles N’zogbia in the squad for tomorrows game :( Still should get 3 points on the board I reckon.
