17 June 2013 at 10:35 pm #116427I heard that he was seen on a grassy knoll in Dallas, and that’s why some people don’t like him
Yeah, right – since when have we had 2 decent shooters? ;)
17 June 2013 at 10:50 pm #116428Leaving the DW Stadium on the 8th May 2013; the day after we got rolled over by Swansea. That adds a little bit of intrigue into my belief that DW was “happy” to let RM go.
Adds a little bit of intrigue to my belief that an out of work football manager who lives with within 20 miles of a premier league football ground is highly likely to go to a match at that ground on a Tuesday night rather than stay at home and watch Eastenders.
Conspiracy theory rating: 0
Griffter, my good fellow; we played Swansea on the 7th May whereas LHL claims that Owen was spotted coming out of the DW the following day. And in his own words today he says “when I first stepped into the DW” I knew this is where I wanted to be; thus potentially and unwittingly giving us a clue that the first meeting of sorts, was at the Stadium. Conspiracy theory – yes definitely. Whilst Roberto might have been a “nice son to Dave”, you don’t necessarily want your “nice son” managing your football team. Dave strikes me as a boss that would demand more fire & passion from his key employees, so maybe that’s why he severed the umbilical cord.
Am I missing summat here?
‘He was seen leaving the DW 8th, the day after we got rolled over by Swansea.’
and
‘we played Swansea on the 7th May whereas LHL claims that Owen was spotted coming out of the DW the following day,
No difference. :P

Either way, I read it (incorrectly) as Coyle was seen AT the Swansea game, which would have been nothing out of the ordinary at all.
Being there the day after is less normal. Unless it took him all night to find his way out.
18 June 2013 at 12:44 am #116448Its getting that time of the day for me,been up since daft oclock, but if whelan wanted coyle in the 1st place and hes out of work then why interview other managers, jjust a thought like
18 June 2013 at 2:57 am #11645618 June 2013 at 2:30 pm #116476I’ll throw one in.
May 2012 Dave whelan tells the world that Fergie was going to retire at the end on the next season (2013) due to ill health and that David Moyes was going to take over.
Fergie denies this (as do Man U)- more becuase they dont want their share price to be impacted.
David Moyes doesnt sign a new contract at Everton.
RM refuses to talk about his future.
I’m not a conspiracy theory person – but something does smell a little!

And you can have more than one son.
