By far the easiest and cheapest way to safely get to and from the game is by coach.
For details of the Supporters Club Coaches prices, click here
3 May 2013 at 4:57 am #111977By far the easiest and cheapest way to safely get to and from the gameBoth of your claims here are misleading, you are not the cheapest by a long way, and how do you claim to be the easiest when you only have one pick up/ drop off point.
You have also made isleading claims in your link.
3 May 2013 at 1:37 pm #111991Just a quick question why are the coaches leaving a hour earlier than the semi-final ?
3 May 2013 at 6:06 pm #112007might be because there will a few more coaches and a shed more cars going from up north.

It depends how you read it.
Normal people will read it as Coaches are easier and cheaper than going by car, plane or train, with or without a hotel.
Ones looking to slate, chastise or ridicule someone would look at it as Supporters Club Coaches are not as cheap as some non-executive alternatives that have been organised by pubs, clubs and mates clubbing in.At £32 our members receive the cheapest Official Club travel, direct with Eavesways is £39, Connections £43 and the Club themselves £35.
Sorry to burst your bubble old boy.
4 May 2013 at 9:59 pm #112148Just a quick question why are the coaches leaving a hour earlier than the semi-final ?Mr Arkwright is correct, plus MCFC Coaches leave at 10, so we will try to get ahead of them.

You havent burst anyones bubble, you are not the cheapest or “easiest”of either “executive” or “non executive” groups and that is what you said.
Despite your claims, your adverts are misleading to say the least.
5 May 2013 at 5:05 pm #112232Sorry but your wrong there loudmouth, it is how you read it. When I first read it and still read it now, you can see that it means coaches are the cheapest and easiest way of getting to the Final and they are, even you would find it hard to dispute that (I think!).
The statement is correct and if you want to interpret it like it is saying the Supporters Club coaches are the cheapest and easiest, then you keep filling your boots, but it seems you’re the only one that is reading it like that.
I would say that if you included the quizzes and entertainment plus the ‘Survival Kit’ that was supplied for the Semi which had at least a pie, crisp, drink and Uncle Joes Mintballs (cost of around £3/4) that brings the cost down to around £28/9, I think that is exceptional value.
I’d say grow up, but I won’t ;)
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

I would agree fully with ‘your’ interpretation of what was posted if the author would have said “coaches are the cheapest and easiest”, but they didn’t they chose to say “the Supporters Club coaches are the cheapest and easiest” and that is the reason for me saying it was misleading.
Is that the same quiz that myself and another person(credited by yourselves) did, that your organisers scrounged through a back door source, because they were too idol or incapable of doing one themselves.
You wasn’t the only ones to provide free refreshments, and like other coaches that did, it was at no expense to yourselves.
Just for the record “old boy”
7 May 2013 at 11:44 am #112413Seriously, who gives a flyer?
Willy-waving about coaches? Dear oh dear.

I will let you or Jay have the final word on this because I realise now that in your eyes everything we do is not in the best interests of the Supporters and it is actually you that provide the best service for our fans.
Next season we will hand everything over to you so that everything is at it’s best. I have asked Jay to alter the initial thread post to avoid any confusion even though just 1 (You) have commented on it out of hundreds reading it.
We are not worthy to support the same team as you and we hope you run the Supporters Club well in the Future. Please let us know if we can join.
Anyway, for your information, Paul Kendrick asked us to do the quiz on the coaches the day before the tickets went on sale for the semi final. Jeff Rourke had said he would do it for him and he wanted us to raise some money on the Coaches on the way down for Joseph’s Goal. We joined Jeff’s story quiz up with a Q&A quiz that Adam off the Committee drew up.
I know Barry talks to him a lot, get him to clarify that if you want. We certainly didn’t go scrounging it off anybody, we were happy to help the Charity, as we will be doing tonight.
If you want to know, we had planned to print up a special fantasy football predictor for the day (again to raise money for the charity) before being asked to do the Quiz.
But what ever, we are obviously not worthy.
I await your closing quip, but please don’t slag off an Association for doing the best it can, it makes you look…. well you know how it makes you look.
7 May 2013 at 12:32 pm #112416I am bumming a lift off a band I know who are playing in Shoreditch the Friday night and stopping at a mates after the gig, I will then make a short tube journey to join the rest Saturday dinnertime. Saturday night will however be spent in a sleeping bag on a hotel floor followed by a 4 hour plus ‘Mega Bus’ ride home (£10) on the Sunday ! Home for 3.30pm !
25 July 2013 at 2:06 pm #118264What’s the deal with Supporters Club Cards? I renewed at the end of last season and haven’t got my card through. Going to need it for Barnsley
