What an opportunity to actually travel with the players and have a drinks reception.
Had it been £800 or thereabouts I might have been digging out the credit card, but £1599….
I’m guessing the smallest plane the club could get with the range to get to the depths of Russia was about 140 seats so they thought they might as well sell on the rest. No idea why it’s returning via Bristol…to drop off DW’s auntie maybe
Try looking at a fixture list and you may understand why they are returning via Bristol, its not rocket science.
Plus, Standish gave him the answer in his original post.
Not only they know nowt about football in Leyland, it seems they are not too hot on geography or reading, either.
29 September 2013 at 9:04 pm #121649Yep…I revisted the fixtures after I posted….
Sorry to disappoint, but a relative of mine used to work in Yeovil so I know where it is thanks (not been though)
29 September 2013 at 10:12 pm #121653Is that the the Package 2 or the the package 3 option? I’m interested in going but Obviously to keep the accomodation cost down I need another person to travel with…
29 September 2013 at 10:50 pm #121654It’s package 3 mate. If anyone gets in contact with me looking to travel alone I’ll put you in touch with each other.
29 September 2013 at 11:14 pm #121656Johnny is this a typo on your third package ?
Friday 8th November: Fly back to Moscow in time for the 22:15 train back to Manchester.
30 September 2013 at 1:35 am #121663Well spotted, now amended :)
30 September 2013 at 2:27 pm #121668If you want to travel as cheap as you possibly can. Sort it out yourselves. Or book with this non-ATOL, Non-ABTA bonded lot. (By law, every UK travel company which sells air holidays and flights is required to hold an ATOL)
Please get your facts right before you start making false accusations. We fully abide with all Package Travel Regulation laws and our customers money is fully insured (there are several alternatives to ABTA).
We don’t sell air holidays, flights don’t come as part of our packages therefore we don’t require ATOL. We advise on where to book the cheapest flights. And regardless of this, ATOL is not needed to book standalone flights, only flights which are part of a package.
Keep your hair on sunshine! Where’s the false accusation?
Do you have an ATOL license and are you ABTA bonded? No.
Yes I’m more than aware there are numerous less well known and, in most cases more economical alternatives to ABTA, and the comment I used ‘By law, every UK travel company blah blah’ is from the CAA and slighly misleading. Since last year you’ve needed an ATOL if you sell a package or tag anything so much as a car hire onto a flight only booking. But let’s not get into tour operator licensing as it’s a long and very boring road.
So, as you are not arranging flights, and my post was in response to:
‘Dylan lupinetravel.co.uk is doing 5 nights in Russia for Kazan match for £500 inc. flights. Club are doing 2 nights for £1600’
Where`s your issue? I’m stating facts: you aren’t arranging packages that include flights because you aren’t licensed to do so.
The club’s package clearly isn’t for the standard cost-conscious supporter and shouldn’t be regarded as such or be compared to anything with an ‘assumed’ flight inclusion.
For the record, the post wasn’t aimed at you, so good luck with it all and I sincerely hope you do well out of this game.
The post WAS aimed at people who are comparing apples with oranges.30 September 2013 at 7:35 pm #121677I’m with Dylan on a 5 nighter and up to now the arrangements are going swimmingly well.

30 September 2013 at 8:16 pm #121680I think its fair to say that you will pay through the nose for the official package, and you will get some unique extras as fans.
But I would like to think people would trust the Lupine package, and it will deliver. They have a track record of successfully trips to difficult places, and those that are interested should contact them directly regarind ABTA concerns etc.
Dylan is a top bloke and I would trust him. His trip will be worth the experience.

The post WAS aimed at people who are comparing apples with oranges.Well fair enough if it wasn’t aimed at me. But your post did come across as a dig “this non-ABTA bonded lot”. Suggests that we’re some chancers who’ve just set up without adequate licenses or cover.
30 September 2013 at 10:43 pm #121684Still looking for a single guy or woman ;) or a party of 3,5,etc so I can make it up to an even number. for the 5 day trip.
