Yawn; it’s predictably about who has the most money !
    Ruined forever.
There was more excitement listening to Chorley Vs Spennymoor Town in the play off final of the Northern League Final. It probably meant more (emotionally) to the players of Chorley, than the City players could ever imagine (whilst they check their win bonus on the coach back up North.

Football is in a state of no repair

£800 mill spent hasn’t done the scumbags much good City and Liverpool have just been class and will probably contest the title again next season. Both are a delight to watch.

No fan of the greed league but 97 points and lose 1 game all season yet still finish runners up. Bloody hell that is unbelievable.
Also to have to win 14 games on the trot to actually have to win the league is also just bloody unbelievable.

The run in was far from boring TBH but the league has always been about who spends the most money and the Championship isn’t much different.

Money definitely plays a major role now LH. Was a bit more exciting than last year though when City ran away with it.
For me the cheating in the game is equally as bad. Seems to be accepted now that the slightest bit of contact warrants a player acting like he’s been shot. Hardly watch motd now.

Never seen a side as bad for cheating as Brentford this season. On par with the greed league those men.

I’d agree with that donny, Jack Grealish wouldn’t look out of place in that Brentford side.

While you are both right about the money in the game City Liverpool and Spurs have proved that its also about being managed well. As I said before Utd have spent the same as City over the same period and are shite. Fulham spent well over 100 million and were relegated. Spurs on the other hand have spent less than us in the last few windows and made the top four and Champions league final. This season more than most has proved that spending wildly alone doesn’t bring guaranteed success. Liverpool and City have been phenomenal because they have outstanding coaches. The best thing about the season though was the unmasking of Mourinho and the end of the myth about him being special. And of course the horror of Utd fans having to watch City and Liverpool being so brilliant knowing that one of them was going to be champions. I’ve enjoyed the greed league for once.

I think this season showed that what Jose has done in the last two seasons winning trophies and finishing 2nd at Utd shows exactly how good he is.

As for Liverpool, yes they have a great coach but he has spent €442m why he has been at Liverpool so basically an average of £100m a year to get the squad he has and TBH he probably only has a squad of 14 or 15 players that are any good.

So egg obviously a closet Utd fan. The very fact that Ole came from that powerhouse of World football Molde and turned Utd around for a spell speaks volumes of how good Mourinho is. Also if he is that good how come he is still out of work. He is a busted flush who could fall out with his own shadow. So Liverpool spent big as well, only half of what Utd have so how many points did they finish behind the top 2 again.

Ole is doing a great job isnt he. The players hated Jose in the end and anyone could have turned them around briefly. Soon as the honeymoon ended they have fallen apart again. He didn’t spend a penny as he isn’t in charge of transfers.

Klopp is a top coach as I said but to say he has done it on that alone just isn’t true.

I like Jose I’ll be honest. If sticking up for him makes me a closet Utd fan, does that make you a kopite?

And to say Jose is a myth after a bad season with his record is ridiculous. Be like saying peps shit cos he only manages top clubs.

He has screwed up his last 2 jobs. Losing the dressing room does happen but he lost it at both Chelsea and Utd. The players at Utd have been a disgrace granted but it is still down to the gaffer to unite the squad not alienate certain players and cause rifts. But egg you missed my original point that this season has not been just about money but great coaching as well. Utd have hardly been stagnant in transfer dealings but have not competed because the guys in the hot seat are greatly inferior to those at City and Liverpool. Money will obviously buy you top players but it is still the coach who gets them playing to the level expected. Take Pogba and Sterling, the one with the biggest price tag has been a flop while the other has improved massively under a better coach. Don’t you agree.

Tough to control egos as big as those in the game nowadays I expect. Even Leicester players have had 2 managers sacked recently. As soon as you lose a few games they spit their dummies.

I think regardless of why he gets the boot, Jose is a superb coach/manager as are klopp and pep
