Hull had 21000 on yesterday & after a slow start remain just a few places off the play offs.So going down doesnt seem to have been the end of the world to them & their fans are back behind them. Same goes for Burnley & Pompey.Swansea also had a great result playing in a very familiar style yesterday.I wonder what happened to the manager who laid down those roots & changed their playing philosophy is up to now, he might be worth a punt

There’s no way the swans would have Bobby back!
      copy and paste i’m afraid

Enter Brendan rodgers, he’s got us scoring with Sinclair and defending well, he has a plan b and C and switches to 4-4-1-1, 4-3-3 and 4-5-1 and in my opinion is a far better manager than Martinez.

From what I’ve seen of Martinez with Wigan he’s the same as he was here, no plan b, plays the same formation regardless and has his favourites. Sir Alex complained that Fabien Brandy never got a look in when he was on loan to us so it does not surprise me that Sinclair never got a chance at Wigan, Sinclair is PL quality and made a mistake by letting him go. I wouldn’t have Martinez back here but I can see why DW wants him at Wigan cos he’s the cheap option used to working on a shoestring.

Has that really come from the Swansea board? That’s quite frightening.

i don’t think its frightening at all coz we’ve all seen over the last 2 seasons how stubborn & inflexible he is.
If he refuses to see there might even be the need for a plan B whilst he’s been at Latics then I aint in the least bit surprised that he was exactly the same at Swansea

What I would disagree with though is the guys statement that Sinclair is premier league quality – quite how he can say that after only having watched him in the championship I don’t know. Didn’t look anywhere near good enough to play in the top flight when he was with Latics but that aint to say he won’t be in the future

One thought I’ve had, after seeing Sinclair looking great in the Championship, is ‘can some of the players we have playing for us, suddenly look great, when we go down?’
Thing is, what players will still be here? I just hope we can keep hold of McCarthy, as I reckon him and McArthur in midfield could be great. I’d expect Diame to shine as well, Watson too, as he was highly praised at rated at that level.
Talking about Moses the other day, and my dad said “Watch Neil Warnock come in for him, as they (QPR) are going up, and he rates Moses highly”. I could see that happening.
To be quite honest, I’m not that bothered about ANY of the other players, and if they stay or not.
