5 September 2012 at 7:15 pm #92667Massive profits, what cloud have you fell off pal?Whelan is absolutely creaming this club for all it’s worth. Wake up and smell the coffee (I think that’s the correct cliché)……

Let’s see how far I can go with this one.
5 September 2012 at 7:45 pm #92669my dad and grandad are shareholders and i have read the books, if u think whelan is making a profit you are not very clever the sky money only just pays the wages the gates and season tickets pay for nowt really the running of the club comes out of his own pocket mostly.

5 September 2012 at 11:26 pm #92678Is anybody actually making the trip – £45 is bit ridiculous! dont like to miss these games just incase we cause an upset but theo nly problem is your looking at around £120 day out! half a season ticket !we should charge their fans the same when they come to the DW – we all know they will pay it!
£240 quid for a ST? You lucky people! Mine is virtually £600 which is a hell of a lot when we’re losing! And that’s the cheapest ST we have as well.
To be honest prem football is a total rip off. Back in the good old L1 days prices were competitive and averaged about £15 a game which is fair. 3 of us went and had a great time but this season we’ve decided to share 2 STs between the 3 of us because none of us can justify the full cost.
I think that’s the way football is going though and hopefully at some point the people at the top who run the game will realise the benefit of affordable prices…. I’m not holding my breath though.

6 September 2012 at 1:58 am #92686We seemed to have digressed from the original post ! Do you think £45 at Old Trafford is a bit steep ? I do hence my earlier reply !
6 September 2012 at 2:09 am #92688It’s way too much for 90 minutes of football. Even if I could afford it I don’t think I would pay it.
6 September 2012 at 2:17 am #92689It is steeper than parbold hill,so for me it is far to pricey :)
6 September 2012 at 2:49 am #92691i’ll be there, steep i know, but im a proper fan. fair play if you are to tight to pay it is alot of money for 90mins.
6 September 2012 at 2:53 am #92693Christ you have soon got fed up with the greed is good league :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:Not sure if that’s meant at me or not but assuming it is, yeah we were all enjoying promotion but not many were looking forward to the actuality of it if that makes sense? More money and less entertainment, what’s to enjoy? Having seen 27 years in the top flight and 7 in the lower leagues I know what I prefer and it isn’t unfair relegation battles.
6 September 2012 at 2:56 am #92696you trying to tell us that going to rochdale or macclesfield was more entertaining thean the prem? come on pal get real.who do you support btwe.
