:)Getting a seat in belle vue with mi owd chap and his mates,lemonade and a packet of ready salted then short walk up the (what seamed then steep muddy banking).To see the site of Peter Houghton warming up and running round the outsides of the pitch for about half an hour.Win,lose or draw they where magic days.
However that semi final at highbury takes some beating even better than the away trip to Chelsea when Tommy Gore scored that free kick.
The sense of pride I had as the team ran out for our first game in the FOOTBALL LEAGUE at Hereford,the memories of that day are still with me today :cheer:
Mansfield game ..I can remember getting a clip around the ear from the legend Bill Morris (plod) after the game .Mind you he gave most of us a clip after every game.

The West Ham goal was a huge bonus as I was simply happy to send them cheating b@stards down.
The Arsenal game I can still remember screaming at Scharner to leave the ball for Roberts after Kav had lofted it forward. Superb scenes when he tapped it in.
I would probably have to throw the Reading and Chelsea games in as well, but I think if I had to choose just one moment it would be the winner against Arsenal in the 3-2 comeback.
I didn’t celebrate the first goal as I didn’t think it would make much difference. I wasn’t sure the second had been given until it was too late to celebrate, so the third smashing in off the post was awesome.
I am tied between two great moments.Hammering North End 5-0 was particularly sweet for me as I hate Nob Enders just as much as I hate Utd and their glory hunting fans, which leads me to the other moment I would like to relive which was gaining not only our first points off Utd but actually beating them, especially as many say that our win attributed to them not winning the league that season !
