when we batter Knob End !
11 September 2016 at 2:32 am #150640Not so sure I agree with that statement lhl… A very good Barnsley side only beat them by one today. We got some tough games coming up before them, just hope we improve and pick some points up prior to that game.
11 September 2016 at 2:51 am #150645Well that’s up to Bobby the second Lostock. At the moment with this shambles of a start and ripping a squad of winners apart it may take a little longer Al. Hate Nob End almost as much as the eggs but Bobby Mark 2 doesn’t fill you with confidence.
Barnsley beat them with the help of one rated not good enough for us by Bobby 2 so who knows you could be right.11 September 2016 at 10:31 pm #150674Went yesterday……stop this over positive hype ..we were crap.As with previous away games this season we have been mauled and 6-1 would have reflected Sheffields dominance.Definately need Perkins back asap and avoid playing players out of position.Made some poor signings so far.Just needed last seasons squad tinkering with instead of this complete overhaul.
11 September 2016 at 10:45 pm #150675Can’t get any clearer than that. It is what most people are saying. It’s all getting a bit deja-vous or Rosleresq. The playing of players out of position is crazy. Apparently Yanic came on yesterday and went in defence ffs. Is that your idea of pretty football Mr Chairman????

Grigg at right back and young Burke as a lone striker for Norwich away anyone??
12 September 2016 at 1:47 am #150681Why not Horc. Owt’s worth a try. Better still drop Will and bring back Davies in goal, Jussi on the wing and a master stroke Bogdan as lone striker. I even think Jacobs and Perkins would make a great pair of central defenders. Nothing lost in trying.
We will just have to wait and see which players are drawn from the hat on Tuesday evening at 7-30.14 September 2016 at 4:20 pm #150746when we batter Knob End ! and after a draw against Fulham !
14 September 2016 at 5:39 pm #150747when we batter Knob End ! and after a draw against Fulham !Love your optimism Ali, me I’m flamin suicidal again. How can things be so bad so soon after Blackpool? Lots of discussion on changes outfield but how the hell can Gary justify his treatment of Jussi? Baffled and worried.
14 September 2016 at 9:21 pm #150749Last night was disappointing as was saturday. But to say someone is suicidal after 6 games goes way beyond belief. We struggled this time last season, we are doing it again this. But give people a chance. Did folk on here expect us to storm the league.
14 September 2016 at 9:33 pm #150750No person would ever expect us to storm the league but without signing a sausage and keeping the lads together and keeping the same tactics and playing players in position we would surely have had more points in the bag at the moment. The dressing room must be like during the start of Uwes second season.
We struggled this time last season because of Gary Caldwells tactics as much as gelling together a totally new squad. In the end though a fantastic achievement but that came about because of changing tactics.14 September 2016 at 11:25 pm #150752No person would ever expect us to storm the league but without signing a sausage and keeping the lads together and keeping the same tactics and playing players in position we would surely have had more points in the bag at the moment. We struggled this time last season because of Gary Caldwells tactics as much as gelling together a totally new squad. In the end though a fantastic achievement but that came about because of changing tactics.& we have brought in new players again this season. They need time to gel. Give it 2 or 3 more games.
15 September 2016 at 12:48 am #150753I do hope so Runcorn. We don’t want a repeat of the Rosler McKay season and the throwing the towel in at Christmas.
Don’t think we can do what Jewel did in his time but consolidation would be ok now after this crazy start to a season.15 September 2016 at 12:56 am #150757I do hope so Runcorn. We don’t want a repeat of the Rosler McKay season and the throwing the towel in at Christmas.

15 September 2016 at 2:20 am #150758I understand what you mean Egg and after the last debacle in this division yes that would be quite acceptable. I suppose after what we have witnessed over the last twenty years or so we can expect a little too much but there’s nowt wrong with dreaming.
