What about them moving to Deepdale or building somewhere in Leyland, Chorley or Blackpool.
That way it wouldnt be such a long journey for their fans.

No, in a bid to improve the standard of referring this season, I reckon Brooking will recommend a trial with celebrity referees, who will be given a trial of 3 games. The first one will be a Mr Raymond Winstone who will be referring at Upton Park for his 3 games, from this weekend. In addition, he will be assisted by ex-players running the line to help him out, the first 2 being Tony Cottee and Paulo Di Canio.

can’t speak for anyone else, but i don’t really follow football. if i did it would be you men, what with you being my local team. hardly anyone on the pitch thread on rlfans has gone beyond calling latics shit, which, when you’re inteh middle of a relegation battle, it’s pretty hard to argue against. the number of people that slag you off compared to the number of people on the site is tiny. you forget rlfans is a lot busier than this site. if 20 people were wishing for your relegation (there aren’t btw) then it would be a tiny percentage of the users. if 20 people on here were wishing the rugby would get chucked out of the stadium (most of you do) it’s probably more than half of your regular posters

i think a lot of wigan fans are touchy because every winter we get blamed for the state of the pitch when we aren’t even playing on it. it does get pretty frustrating

we went to warrington, and 5 fellas outside a pub without wire shirts kicked off with us – attendance that night was 13k. we took 3k to bradford and 4 pissed up kids caused some hassle. we took 6k to saints and about 3 nobs caused bother. hardly an epidemic of hooliganism pal :lol:

btw latics fans are allowed on C&W. the fella who runs it is a life long latics mon as well as a rugby mon and he had a season ticket until recently. only reason latics fans get banned off C&W is if they disrupt threads and make a genereal t!t of themselves

i go to every game. i never see anything more than a handful of drunk idiots. when you take a crowd of thousands to late evening games you’re bound to get a few that can’t handle their drink. you’re making out like we’ve got some massive firm smashing up every town we visit :lol:
