OMG i think the world is gonna end.

      Or not…………

Whelan has had a rant in the Obby apparantly – “What are the Premier League going to do about kicking the rugby out? They’ve got a contract to play there”

Does it really work like that Dave ? ?

Now we can all get back to normality of us hating the cuckoo’s and them hoping we cease to be at some point in the near future while they continue to hope DW drops dead.

i’m gonna be optimistic and say Yes. how do you think the FA are gonna get rid of us? it just isn’t gonna happen :)

It’s a Premier League issue for a start so has very little/nothing to do with the FA – not sure why the FA keep getting mentioned.

Not too sure i’d believe a word Whelan says to be honest. If he’d said WW were being kicked out from next Tuesday I wouldn’t believe a word of it. Because, after-all, we are talking about Dave Whelan.

Premier League/ FA makes no difference to me. i was confident that we were stayin put before Whelan came out and said this. him speaking out just confirms what i aready thought. has all this fuss been confirmed by an actual source yet or is it still all paper talk?

To say the rugby lot aren’t worried about this situation, they sure are clocking up the posts, even if you discount those wishing to see Latics to go out of existence.

This story has progresed from being dismissed as a journalists rant, to being on the front and back pages of the Wigan Observer.

What’s next, a legal loophole seeing the rugby being turfed out?

Nothing would suprise me, afterall we now see rugby fans taking Whelans words as gospel!

So, Whelan says “Wigan Rugby cannot be moved from the stadium” and he “Will take legal action against the Premier League” if they try to enforce it.

Do you know why? because the only ones at risk (until the lease is up) are Wigan Athletic, which is what the more reasoned of us have been telling you since this story broke.

Whelan won his battle over the policing issue, if this one goes to court he will also win this one.

Weren’t you all telling us this story was ******** when it broke?

You obviously believe Latics fans are a touch wet behind the ears.

The lack of comprehension regarding finances and the naivety on show over there is a sight to behold, still it’s what I’ve come to expect.

PS, I have a bridge to sell you………………..

‘I didnt hear them complaining when the council’s admiration of WRLFC allowed them to get the new stadium they needed. As we all know the council would never have allowed the JJB to be built without us. I understand that they wouldnt have allowed it without them either but at least we dont moan about the council lmao. I’m pretty sure the council helped them build a stadium to share with us right? Just a thought…’

Dear me, some of there own fans aren’t even aware they only jumped on the DW Stadium bandwagon once construction was well underway.

No wonder most of them don’t realise Latics now own the stadium.
