I’m neither mate, just a disappointed fan but as I wasn’t there I’ll keep my mouth shut.
No need to be disappointed oz, there really wasn’t much in it.
After victories like this, fans of smaller clubs have historically always run on the pitch.
Yes, a few ran over to the City fans to goad them, it always happens.
I remember the days when away fans were always kept in for 15 minutes after matches, and the goading we got especially from the City fans after the play off loss at Maine Road was far far worse.
Aguero obviously reacted to this as it was probably something he hadn’t come across before and he most certainley wasn’t expecting.
If, and its a big if, he was spat at, then that was wrong and the culprit would by now have been found and dealt with.
The City fans, who should have by then have been out of the ground and on their way home were the aggressors as JR stated as 99% of the Latics fans were dancing with joy and celebrating with our players as they made their way off the pitch.
The Latics should appeal this as it is wrong to single us out for something that happens all the time.
Keep coming on oz, and join in the fun.
