If they lose why give them a massive reception. If they lose they are down which means they have not been good enough all season so why this game show appreciation for lack of effort. I bet you didn’t give them a massive reception the last time they played Blackpool, or the time before that.
Well done, Yosser, that comment just about sums up a proportion of our club’s ‘loyal’ support.
The new Wigan Athletic motto: Wigan till I die, or until they lose – whichever comes sooner.
It is a post intent on rallying support when it’s needed most, and yet again you have turned it into an anti-Martinez thread.
You are basically condoning booing, or at the very least not applauding them if they don’t win.
Edit: I think you’ll find McGoose, a rugby supporter, is taking the p1ss out of you. All those times that Latics supporters have accused the rugby lot of being glory hunters, and when times don’t look as rosy, you’re willing to turn your back on the team you profess to support.[/quote]
Standish I don’t condone booing but if on Saturday we get beat by an average Blackpool side I will not be cheering them off the field. As I feel anything less then 3 points and we are down and IMO relegation is certainly nothing to be proud of.
I will however be saying a few prayers that we can get enough points to stay up despite of our clueless manager.
griff to standish “your the bestist you standish”
“no you are griff, I want to bum you and rub your nugget” But thty wants a piece of the action too, don’t leave him out.
There was a point in the fairly recent past when you were in serious danger of ceasing to be a complete and utter d!ck.
However, you appear to have reverted to type. Well done. Try growing up

I think you have issues young man. I haven’t even reposted on this thread, and you’ve already addressed my original post. Now I get included in an exchange of cross words with thtythree.
Last post on this lick my arse thread, I don’t think i have said anything ridiculous but the propaganda men on here like turning things into other things and thty tries to tag along because he isn’t clever enough to come up with anything of his own
Well yosser if supporting your team through the bad times and not on a computer is licking arse then so be it you find out if the true supporter comes to fore when times are bad not just tagging along as you put it why dont you just bog off and support the rugby then it may be a lot easier for you that way
I take it you’ll not be supporting the plan. Shame but maybe this approach is not everyone’s cup of tea.

I’ll be as giddy as a baby giraffe – and probably as stable – by 3pm. However, I’ve never been in a ground 20 minutes before kick-off in my life so I’m afraid I can’t comply with that one.
My colour of clothing depends on what my wife has ironed and I will only be carrying a phone, a wallet, door keys and a change of skids, so no space for a scarf.
Other than that I’m in.

Ditto. Ditto. Ditto.
To be of assistance – if you need a change of skids, I have just seen an advert for some rather eye-catching fancy pants apparently for sale on Hindley Market which may be of interest ;)
