We also have a bung coming off Charlton after they bought Pearce.
27 May 2019 at 2:06 am #179002Mutts your miles off. Cost us 250k today which is worth it to see us well and truly have yer keks down!
27 May 2019 at 2:13 pm #179005Is this the way to sunny Bury, MK Dons the Burton and Donny say goodbye to Barnsley and Charlton, AFC Wimbledon wait for you!
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!27 May 2019 at 4:42 pm #179009Mutts your miles off. Cost us 250k today which is worth it to see us well and truly have yer keks down!Even if it was as low as that (which it isn’t), that’s £50 extra on your 5000 Season Tickets.
27 May 2019 at 4:59 pm #179010Was confirmed by your Chairman Donald that you paid 3 million on twitter. Pretty sure when Wigan sold him they knew there was a chance you wouldn’t go up. Put it anther way. You’ve paid us three times more than our season ticket sales then!
27 May 2019 at 8:06 pm #179011Really doesn’t like being tackled Grealish does he.
McGinns as bad which considering he played in Scotland is saying something.

My season ticket last season was £289 Mutts, it has soared for next season to the heady height of £299, so you are well off there. Its even cheaper if you go behind the goals.
How much is a season ticket for third tier football at Sunderland for next season?27 May 2019 at 10:13 pm #179014Was confirmed by your Chairman Donald that you paid 3 million on twitter. The figure of £4m was quoted earlier in the thread by Nuneaton. There’s your difference.

No mutt 4 million was the figure in the media at the time of sale. Probably with add ons granted so are you now going to deliberately stay in league one so you don’t have to pay the full fee of course not. Truth is we may lose a bit if you don’t progress but it cost your club a lot more. Certain players suit certain clubs Grigg and Powell being prime example. We tolerate and accept faults in these players because our expectations are lower. We know Powell has injury woes and Grigg isn’t prolific but we still gave them support. To be honest mutt Sunderland fans were on Griggs back almost as soon as he got there and that’s the real difference

In much the same way the stoke fans will be on Powell’s back.
28 May 2019 at 7:32 pm #179021£4m was reported widely in the media by just about everyone (inc WAFC), until our owner pointed out that a chunk of that was add-ons.
As for you always backing your players – you were not that welcoming and positive towards Windass & Clarke around Feb/March time.

They are hardly Grigg and Powell who on their day win games every club has good/bad players. My point is that while they both got tolerated at Wigan moving on to bigger clubs on bigger salaries means it wont be a cushy ride as Grigg has already found out. They were both a good fit at Wigan and only time will tell if Powell makes it once gone. Personally I think he has his work cut out.

Bit like you and the goons squad eh mutts?
How about you let us worry about our squad and how much we raped you men for for Grigg and you worry about getting out of that pub league you were so confident you were gonna walk.
28 May 2019 at 11:27 pm #179024you worry about getting out of that pub league you were so confident you were gonna walk.Do you fancy pointing me to exactly where I said we would walk it. Or is this the moment, like Bullshit, when you go all quiet?

Maybe not quite “we will walk it” but you were very sure you would be promoted on this thread
