I see the trolls are out in force after we didn’t make it a cup final. Now I see Leam Richardson is out of his depth and has took us as far as he can. We are not getting promoted and we would have only taken 5K fans to Wembley anyway.
Is it just me that finds it embarrassing to have such fans?

I went to the game and came away thinking that Leam and the fringe players let themselves and the fans down, I’ve never known the walk over the canal bridge be so quiet…..Ever!

Seems like we have a group of fans who are only happy when we lose.
Richardson is in his first full season a sa manager and we are sat in 2nd with the title in our hands. Seeing as pretty much 99.99% of us would have settled for mid table at the start of the season I think he has done a pretty good job.
So we didn’t make the pizza cup final….so what? I wouldn’t swap that for promotion which we will 100% get even if we lose today.
The same fans seem to be giving little or no credit to sutton who were excellent on the night and threw men behind the ball at every opportunity.
Seems like we have a group of fans who are only happy when we lose.

Nobody is wearing rose tinted glasses. Some of us support our club no matter what. I get the impression you & Mr Brownbill are only ever happy when we lose so you can be proven right & say “see I told you so!”
As stated previously another” bell end “statement. The criticism for a disappointing Tuesday night and the dolloper up front and I’m happy if we lose ?..Its called an opinion. Doesn’t always have to be in agreement with you. You and Stewy not arsed about the Papa cup.(after we go out)……..I was ……Big opportunity missed. Read earlier that I stated I believe he’ll have to lift the players but I think we’ll get a result. What’s a positive outlook in your book if I’m negative ???? Try watching the Rotherham players/manager after to see if they not arsed….and they made promotion their priority too.
Believe me Mr Brownbill I was utterly disappointed not going to Wembley. I was feeling the bug, the excitement, the build up of another Wembley trip. I was due to work on the day of the final, but booked annual leave, which I have now sadly cancelled.
We lost vs Sutton on a penalty shoot out. In other words a lottery that goes either way. We had no god given right to beat Sutton. In much the same way Man City had no god given right to beat us.

Think i’ll go back to staying away from here. Then again it doesn’t look like I missed much when we were winning.

Group games going to penalties and losers getting a point sounds like sports day at school.
U21s and U23s sides entering is a joke.
Removal of the regionalised aspect is stupid.
Scrapping of 2 legs for the semi/regional final is stupid.A shadow of the comp I took great joy in us winning in 99
Have to agree with some of those points….but a cups a cup particularly the prize of Wembley at the end. Early stages if we go out so be it,but steering through 7 games then the prize was in touching distance. Home draw,league 2 opposition…..it was worth taking extremely seriously. Unfortunately a gamble that ran out after last hurdle. Still I think he can get morale back on track and I think we will stun MK…..1-3…..table doesn’t lie !!!….Hope I’ve not tempted fate a tad too much.
Best result this season….desperate for us to hang on but more than chuffed…..well done to every player an Mr Richardson….Had a lump on us to win ..but hey still happy…
