Gutted we couldn’t hang on for the win but would have taken a point before the game. Every game a Cup final now , come on Latics !!!!

I went yesterday excellent point against an inform side. To think had we won we could have gone top Tuesday if results went our way. I wonder if Langs yellow was kinda pre planned in a roundabout kinda way.
He’s looked jaded over the last few games and a 2 match ban against Crewe Morecombe is far better than missing say Bolton or a possible Lincoln or even Ipswich away.
I hope we lose next 2 phoenix , nob

That makes two of us then M8. I have never said and never will say ‘ some supporters want us to lose ‘ Surely as a Wigan Ath fan you want to win every game. Get your facts straight before accusing me of something I have not said.
Cant really criticise the first team over losing to Sutton, as the vast majority didnt feature. From a looking in perspective, having all those games in Feb/Mar/Apr could have backfired if you had suffered a major injury crisis after the transfer window shut. However fair play to LR and the coaching/medical staff for resting and rotating first team players through the PJ and FA Cup and having the confidence in the kids to get to the semi finals – it will have been a very beneficial learning experience for them, and one that will give them confidence if the manager needs them over the remainder of the season.
