So pointing out why we can’t protect the pitch by not having academy games there as per the rules is points scoring now is it?

That’ll be twice this week then that Latics have taken points off Sunderland ;-)

I’ve said it a few times that Lenegan will be a good owner of the club, but he won’t actually have anything to do with the club.

He MAY own the stadium but wouldn’t be able to screw Latics over due to the EFL rules and the council lease so I’m not sure what the problem is.

I’ll use the same analogy I use when Saints fans call the rugby rent boys. If the roof blows off tomorrow it won’t cost the rugby a penny.

As a football club that as this has shown isn’t blessed with money that may not be a bad thing.

      Points scoring!!!

Piss off mutts lad. You came on here all billy big balls about us playing academy games at the dw and how the mighty sunderland dont play any there, then when you get ko’d forst round with facts and evidence you claim its pointless points scoring

Fuck off to posting big club bullshit on your goons and sunnerland boards. Both clubs live in the shadows of their near neighbours :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Pollard can have the stadium. As long as he doesnt get his hands on the club despite what you say Ad about him being good

He doesnt have the sort of money required to bankroll a football club. He is funding the rugby to the tune of between £500k and £1m per year, and that is a small-time operation compared to professional football. When you dig deeper and find that the professional football club has been living off a sugar daddy for 20 years, has a deluded culture of spend spend spend and is incapable of even being close to self-sufficient, then the amount needed to fund the shortfall would be close to £8m a year.

You need to be a multi-millionaire or a fool for that sort of purchase. Mr Leneghan is neither.
