To get out of the championship takes a particular type of manager and for me the style Martinez plays just won’t cut it.
take Hull , I’ve had to turn the TV off while watching them play but fat head got them playing a way to get them in into the Prem.Let’s see how many “contract clause’s” sunddenly appear once were down.
He just missed the payoffs with Swansea in his first Championship season, and they eventually went up playing that way.
West Brom played that way under Mowbraw and went up.
You don’t have to play kick and rush to get out of the Championship.

Irrespective of whether we go down or not what this season has shown is that trying to stay in the Premier League on a tight budget is not really viable. We got away with it last season because key players didn’t get injured, especially during those last nine or ten games.
Once that happens, as we are now witness to, it really is a massive struggle playing twice a week with the bare minimum of a squad made up of players who do not possess the necessary quality.I know its pessemistic but I can’t see us getting another point as Villa have finally found the goals and Arsenal still have champions league spot to play for.I personally think we need one of the 2 above us to lose both of their final 2 games then us having to do Villa to have any hope as I can’t see anything other than a loss at The Emirates,and to keep the loss down to the bare minimum for the gd.You never know what could happen yet as i think the teams above us will have many nervy moments yet !!!
