Well we were all there and we did not witness much tippy tappy passing sideways and backwards. we got stuck in, moved the ball forward and went at City and went looking for a win.
The same way we played the previous season when we were almost down and BOb changed things and we went on and stayed up.
I seem to also recall during Bruces final season we were pushing for a European place as an established Premier League club only to have the side torn apart at Christmas with selling players.Wigan are down and Preston, it seems, are keen to make our re-acquaintance !

Ste; if it wasn’t for the fact that I know so many Preston supporters who really despise Wigan and all of our success, I might even wish them well. They are jealous to the point that they will never admit that Wigan did well to achieve Premier League status and win the FA Cup. The only thing stopping them taking the piss out of our demise is the fact that they haven’t got anything to laud over us yet ! Detestable bunch that they are.

Ali, I don’t like PNE but not in any way shape or form can any football fan want MK to progress at the expense of another club who have been part of the pyramid system. Fans are the same at any club and I’m sure that when we got in the Prem our fans gave Preston fans dogs abuse. We were the last team to play the old Wimbledon at Selhurst Park before they were franchised by the scum and we went to Kingston to see the new A F C Wimbledon lot who had just bought the ground. The effort and passion shown by such a few to reclaim their club was staggering and I admit to having a soft spot for them. MK are everything that is wrong with the game and I despise them to the hilt so I wont celebrate their success and it is not out of jealousy either.
Watching Chesterfield tonight sent a shiver down my spine as I thought to myself ” Fuckin hell, that is going to be us next season” !
