17 January 2020 at 3:44 am #184090Mulgrew interview doesn’t read well…..sounds like he was very unhappy and glad to be back at Rovers irrespective of getting a game.
The few points I got from it were:
He isn’t fit so his decision is nothing to do with being behind Naismith in the pecking order
He struggled to make the decision so sounds like he hasn’t fallen out with anybody
That leads me to think it’s one of:
He wants the move but Blackburn won’t accept our bid so he is trying to force a move
Or the more likely option that he doesn’t fancy a relegation on his CV even if it is only a loan
? #Rovers return the right move for me@charlie_mulgrew speaks to iFollow after returning to the club from his loan spell with #wafc.

Not sure what this rovers fan is referring to. Either a dig at Mulgrew’s ability or he didn’t see us play them off the park.
17 January 2020 at 2:40 pm #184093Now our club is putting a different spin on this saga with the headline: “Charlie Mulgrew recalled by Blackburn Rovers”.
Oh well, make of it what you will…
17 January 2020 at 3:14 pm #184094Quite right the club recalled him probably at the request of mulgrew not wanting to remain here
Im more interested in players wanting to play for our club not ones that dont
Mulgrew is history and gone17 January 2020 at 3:51 pm #184095Looked bang average to me and slow. In last 8 games with him not in side we have conceded 8 goals. In 4 before with him in team we conceded 9.
17 January 2020 at 4:20 pm #184096Now he has had his own say, must really have been desperate to leave us ..

17 January 2020 at 4:27 pm #184098So because he’s gone he instantly becomes shite ?… His reasons sound like he was just knobbed off ” glad to be back among familiar faces”. He’s not tied to us but wonder how many would piss off off if contracts didn’t hold em here?….
17 January 2020 at 4:38 pm #184099Really the interview with Mulgrew says absolutely nothing about his reasons. It’s all left open to interpretation. Those that can’t wait for an opprtunity to stick the boot into the club these days will see it as another reason to do so.
Those that always side with the club will be able to take something from it to still do it.
The truth will probably never be known, but will absolutely be somewhere between the 2 extremes.
17 January 2020 at 8:30 pm #184100The truth is he was injured so contributing fek aw to our plight. Who knows how much longer he will be out for. I very much doubt he would hoist Niasmith out the team, Kipre looks has though he’s been reborn, so can’t get too worked up over this. I also don’t feel any need to have a go at our club etc over his “decision” to leave, for the very reasons I have said above. How embarrassing it must be for him to be not wanted by his parent club and then to be a potential spectator at his loan club.

What a journey!17 January 2020 at 9:19 pm #184101If he ends up abroad we will know it was all just bullshit and he had been offered a deal elsewhere.
17 January 2020 at 9:41 pm #184103Kipre and Naismith are playing well but they are conceding.
Windass is playing well but not scoring enough.
You can play well all you want and 69% possession but if you cannot at least get it right either at the back or up front your well and truly fcuked. Were playing and well at the back conceding and Windass is working hard and not scoring.
Me?, look at midfielders, they need to help out at the back and pop up with 1 or 2 assists or goals. When Morsey didn’t play we looked far far better and Evans ? “I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll……..”
God only knows tbh.
18 January 2020 at 8:11 pm #184133Not in the rovers squad today
18 January 2020 at 8:32 pm #184134Not in the rovers squad todayProbably cos he’s injured marrer.
