The latest team to be linked with Grigg.
Fingers crossed we palm McKay off to them instead
8 July 2016 at 4:06 pm #149388They don’t have enough money to pay what we we’d be asking. Looking at what UK players can command I can’t see him going for less than £5 million. If Dwight Gayle can go for £10 million we could possibly go as high as 15

If Grigg carries on getting the goals this season then I would agree with you about us getting a comparable fee to the Gayle one.
No club in there right mind would pay 15million for a player who hasn’t done it above league 1.
If someone bid 5million for him now then Sharpe would snap there hands off.
8 July 2016 at 5:04 pm #149390Hope the club don’t sell him RP, we need Will more than the money, at the moment..
Could do with extending his contract now really. Wasn’t it a 3year deal we got him on?8 July 2016 at 5:11 pm #149391Ye it was a 3 year deal we signed him on.
A new contract would be wise … another good season then we’ll be into his final year with even more clubs sniffing around

He feeds off being in the right place at the right time. He will always get goals in a good team.
Just depends how this team takes to the Championship.

It will be tougher for sure, but hopefully these new signings will help us settle in nicely. Grigg is a natural goal scorer for me and it wouldn’t surprise me if he got 15 / 16 goals this season.
9 July 2016 at 12:16 am #149400Depends how we play in the Championship. If we keep the momentum going and play the high tempo attacking game there is no reason that we can not have a reasonable season. If we go cautious and walk it out from the back then we may come unstuck and Will won’t get the opportunity to score many goals. Who knows what’s round the corner. Owt can happen. Still go when I can whatever.

If he stays at Wigan it will enhance his International chances, so he will have ‘Best of both’.

He was very Nimble last season. (most of you will be too young for that)!!
9 July 2016 at 8:49 pm #149427If they mess Rangers about, they’ll end up playing for the likes of Raith Rovers, that will be their careers bread and buried.
