27 February 2020 at 2:03 am #185358Result of the season so far
27 February 2020 at 2:04 am #185359Well done lads. 3-0 with ten shots on target. Is that the first time this season we have had ten on target. Shows what happens when pressing and getting shots on target.
Super Jamal Lowe better watch out he’ll be dropped for Saturday.27 February 2020 at 2:05 am #185360Super Jamal Lowe better watch out he’ll be dropped for Saturday. We’ve wanted it all season lol

Can’t be any negatives tonight surely! From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!27 February 2020 at 2:11 am #185362With darf vader in charge we struggle to top league one.
One of the daftest comments on here ever. Paul Cook would struggle to top a league he’s already won. Brilliant.
If I’m Cook, and we stay up, I walk on the pitch last game show everyone my arse and walk off.
He makes mistakes but the way some of our fans are treating him is a disgrace.
Cook can’t win at the moment no matter what he does. Paul Jewell is quite rightly remembered fondly amongst those of us around during his time, but everyone seems to have forgotten his regular screaming fits at referees and 4th officials. A quick google search will give you several examples but Jewell managed back in the era when yellow cards didn’t exist though so maybe he didn’t make a disgrace of himself. Then of course there’s his regular defensive displays away at big ranking teams and his comments about us being Little Wigan punching above our weight. The players mustn’t have read the papers then though like they do now whenever Cook says something negative.
Of course Cook also shouted at referees and 4th officials in League One but we were winning games then so again everybody seemed to miss it. Maybe it was a breath of fresh air from the robotic Martinez era when he just used to stand there with his arms folded for 90 minutes regardless of decisions or performances because we didn’t like that and he was regularly criticised for it, not to mention his comments in the press about ‘positives’. Why did he not just come out and say we were rubbish like Cook does because we wouldn’t possibly criticise that would we?
Now this is not me comparing the relative successes of Jewell, Martinez and Cook but simply just a few examples of the hypocritical and fickleness of football supporters especially those that come under the WAFC banner. You can’t please a Wiganer.
Very well put Egg!!
27 February 2020 at 2:13 am #185363Confidence running through side. Great to see. Lowe finally looking like player we signed tonight. Not expecting much Saturday but let’s smash Luton week after and we should be out.
27 February 2020 at 2:14 am #185364Play like we did tonight until the rest of the season & we’ll be reet!!
27 February 2020 at 2:15 am #185365Great performance all round and even Lady Luck has changed Now with the ball very much running for us also.
Superb goals every one of them and a long overdue clinical away win , not seen since Stoke away in August 2018.
Chey Injury overrides everything though tonight -
