My neighbour watched the match at a local pub with his son. I live within a 20 minute walk of the DW. The pub in question is about the same distance.

20 June 2023 at 7:36 pm #200137It’s a dying sport, no one’s bothered no one cares especially
Yet you care enough to post about it on a thread (supposedly) about Reading’s points deduction.
20 June 2023 at 7:43 pm #200138Because someone asked so I answered it and with a comment. Sometimes the truth does sting abit
21 June 2023 at 11:02 pm #200151Cant imagine Maloney wanting a double relegation on his cv so we will have to play a lot more positive than how we played under him last season.
22 June 2023 at 4:28 pm #200152He’s got about as difficult job as any manager has in the 4 leagues. Come 1st July 8 more are due to leave. By the sounds of it most are leaving so he needs about 12-15 players and gell them in the matter of a few weeks.
We simply cannot afford a poor start because of the 8 point deduction. I hope we can claw in some money for J.Jones, Humphrys and Shinnie like we did for Scully.
You know what, if I had one question to ask Maloney it would be
“Why didn’t Scully play?” one of the strangest signings I think we’ve ever made28 July 2023 at 7:53 am #200477It’s looking like their due for some more points deducted for unpaid tax bill. Just under a month after having the embargo lifted and bringing in 4-5 new players it’s looking like we might not start the season off bottom.
They even had the cheek to pay an undisclosed fee for Charlie Savage on a 4 year deal in the short time the transfer embargo was lifted, unbelievable.Let’s see if their points deductions go up in increments of 4 points every offense not 3 like us. I still don’t understand or know why we had 4 points deducted for each offence were as other clubs gets 3.
Reading are breaking every rule in the book, not paying wages, sustainability and the good old tax man and now their looking at bringing in Theo Walcott.
They’ll need more than a Mike Danson save them this season. It’s going to have be a billionaire who doesn’t mind losing £200 million.
And even Whatmough is linked with them and he might sign before the new transfer embargo is put into place.Someone needs to tell him, Reading failed 3 times last year to pay their players

Now that would be Ironic & Funny
