I understand what you’re saying fella, but Boyce, Bramble,Kirkland etc should not be put under the pressure that Fig causes in the first place.

well the cheap option has to be Nicky Shorey, Surely, Unless there is another South American in the wings. I shouted for shorey not so long ago on here and got hammered down, i also shouted for hutton and dawson and they are realistic targets. We need defenders more than anything, And obviously a striker, I went for Giovanni Dos Santos from Tottenham, We need a bit of flare and well just anyone who can kick that bag of wind into that net.
Iv watched all high score drubbings this season also, but to be fair a team is 11 fighting to keep possesion/tackle/pass/attack/defend etc ! If for eg. fig gets beat then one of the two centre back should be in place to cut the ball out from opposing team…….if centre back/s fail then keeper should be in place to save ball/catch ball etc. Its a team thing and to me and many of thousand wiganers, fig is part of a wigan team we are trying to build around – along with n’zog- roda & thomas !!
Ill watch as closely as your wanting me too on saturday, but he will make more tackles for us than crosses are put in against us !!Get your counting head on………………
Fair enough with what your saying BUT he shouldnt be doing all those things wrong to put the team under pressure. Also I personally dont think ANYONE wants to build our team around Thomas as he is poor and Diame is the better of the 2. And as for a replacement, Gareth Bale would be my choice.

Wigan v Villa will be postponed & with 2 matches having 2 be rearranged & us still in the FA Cup, could put loads more pressure on J.Scotland who can’t score, also extra pressure on Watson as he’s fighting 2 stay at Wigan. Maynor Figeroua has let his standards slip from last season unexpectedly but he’s still good. To be fair £10m is my price tag on him, there’s not a better LB around that’s 4 sale at the moment.
