Please somebody tell me what he actually said, and that he didn’t REALLY come out and compare us to Barcelona? Was it on Sky?
As a certain Mr Jewell would no doubt have quipped….(think his scouse tone)
“Barcelona?…..We’re not even on a par with Burnley, at the moment”.
He actually said he wanted to get us playing like Barcelona, before it got twisted into the ‘we are playing like Barcelona’

Sad fecker whoever twisted that. What’s the point?
All this talk of ‘get rid of martinez’ is a load of crap. He’s bound by certain working peramiters, and there’s not one person who you’d think “yeah, he’d be a great replacement”.
My only gripe are some of his comments after we get stuffed. The ‘positive spin’ is getting a bit repetitive, that’s all.
We all know, or at least most of us do, that he’s working to constraints.
