Bobby himself has said on several occasions that Rodallega doesn’t have the attributes to play that lone striker role (I know he doesn’t call it a lone striker position but that’s what it is) yet keeps picking him in it
25 January 2012 at 12:50 pm #79433Player with some skill, on a hiding to nothing with our team behind him. Only seems to raise his game when he is on the telly.
Shame he will go but certainly a cut above the rest of the shower of ***** at Wigan.

25 January 2012 at 11:31 pm #79453For all the derogatory comments he’s still our best striker.Waits for somebody to post with all the stats to prove me wrong.

I wasn’t suggesting he was anything special and I agree with most of the comments that have been posted about him. It seems he is coming over all Billy Big Bollocks so yes, get rid, for whatever you can get for him.
Looking at what options we have left doesn’t fill me with much optimism though and I can’t see Maynard making the switch. From what I’ve heard it seems like he’s got a peas above sticks type attitude as well.26 January 2012 at 1:26 am #79456He’s cack and will be no great loss.

26 January 2012 at 3:49 am #79467To throw my hat in the ring: – In my opinion Rodellega isn’t as quick as he looks, is knocked off the ball too easily, quite often has the first touch of Peter Sutcliffe and bottles out of challenges. Yes he’s our top goal scorer, but I’m the top goal scorer in my house – the competition is similar.
Also in my opinion, Callum McManaman isn’t a millions miles off the standard of Rodellega now and will only get better with time and experience.

Mr Standish….how many times do you have to be reminded about taking your information from Wigan Athletic’s ‘Official’ website.
as they have not included the two that he has scored this season as shown here..
Oh! that’s right it still makes him our top goalscorer….silly me.
